My Favorite Facial Oils Will Not Break The Bank

Hey Beauty Lovers,

I'm so excited to be sharing with you my favorite facial oils that are completely affordable and work really well!I found these about a year ago after I tried so many expensive facial oils hoping that they would give me the most beautiful skin I could ever imagine. While they did give me beautiful skin, I just could not afford rebuying these oils at their heafty price tag. For any long term benefit from oils, you need to be using them consistently for many months. A tiny 1oz bottle of your favorite oil from Sephora will only last you a month or two, and cost a fortune over a years time. It is completely unsustainable for anyone shopping on a budget, and a waste of money even if you could afford it!

After searching everywhere for good quality oils with a lot of good reviews, I discovered an amazing skincare line on Amazon called Radha Beauty. While they have their own website, they have a great selection of facial oils on Amazon. My favorite oils, Argan and Rosehip, had great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. A 4oz bottle was under $15 so I figured I had nothing to lose. I was just so tired of wasting money on simple facial oils that in my opinion shouldn't be so expensive. I bought both oils, and hoped for the best.

When they arrived, I was a little nervous to try them on my face. I still wasn't convinced that a cheaper oil found on Amazon could compete with the quality of the oils sold at Sephora. I tried the Rosehip oil first. I used a few drops as my last step in my evening skincare routine. It turned my skin the same shade of orange as my more expensive Rosehip oils. This gave me hope! I went to sleep, and when I woke up I ran to the mirror. I was expecting my face to be covered in acne, my biggest fear. To my surprise, my skin looked amazing! It was hydrated, bright, and clear. I then decided to try out the Argan oil as my last step in my daytime skincare routine. My skin felt so moisturized all day. I couldn't believe that these inexpensive oils worked just as well as my more expensive versions.

I have been using these oils consistently for about a year now. I can tell you first hand that they are excellent at a fraction of the price of the luxury brands. So what do these oils even do?

Benefits of Rosehip Oil:
  • Moisturizing
  • Anti-Aging
  • Brightening
  • Antioxidant (thanks to vitamin A)
  • Improves skin texure
  • Can help improve the look of scars
Rosehip oil is great for all skin types! If you have oily skin, only use a drop mixed in with your moisturizer. If you have dryer skin, you can pat 1-2 drops of this oil onto your skin after applying your moisturizer to seal everything in. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend trying a drop of the oil on a patch of skin overnight. This is to ensure that you don't have a reaction to the vitamin A in this oil. If you have extremely sensitive skin, I would avoid this oil all together. You are more likely to be sensitive to vitamin A, so I wouldn't risk it. If you have extremely sensitive skin or you are sensitive to vitamin A, you can still enjoy Argan oil.

Benefits of Argan Oil:
  • Moisturizing
  • Gives the skin a glow
  • Great for even very sensitive skin
  • Can help with skin elasticity (thanks to vitamin E)
Argan oil is also great for all skin types. Even very sensitive skin types can enjoy Argan oil. I still highly recommend doing a skin patch test overnight if you have very reactive skin. You can apply this oil the same way I recommend applying Rosehip oil. Both oils can also be used all over the body and in the hair.

Since it comes in such a large bottle, I pour 1oz into a smaller tinted glass dropper bottle, and I store the main bottle in the fridge. This keeps the oils from going rancid.  I highly recommend this technique if you want to get the 4oz bottle of oil.

One last tip: Mix a drop or two of any of these oils into your foundation for an amazing finish.
