Better Than Botox? Anti-Aging Skincare Routine featuring Dr. Zenovia Skincare

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Two months ago, I put together an acne clearing skincare routine featuring Dr. Zenovia Skincare products. In that post, I promised to give you a full anti-aging routine using products from the brand, and today I am fulfilling that promise!

Finding anti-aging skincare products that actually work can be a daunting task. You spend over $100 on products that have been recommended by your local Sephora salesperson, only to be disappointed when you try them out on your skin. Not only have you wasted a ton of money, but you are probably frustrated that your skin concerns haven't been addressed.

Don't feel bad, we've all been there!

I'm here to tell you that there are actually products out there that work to keep your skin looking youthful and vibrant! Don't get me wrong, anti-aging skincare products won't give you the same results as cosmetic surgery and botox, but there are products that can help you age gracefully and beautifully.

Dr. Zenovia is a board-certified dermatologist that specializes in skincare for every stage of life. All her products are formulated with her innovative REG-ulate360 Complex™. This fantastic technology helps address the underlying hormone imbalance in aging and acne-prone skin. Dr. Zenovia has helped countless women both in her clinic and through her medical-grade clinical skincare brand.

I'm not going to lie... Dr. Zenovia Skincare is a high-end skincare brand that comes along with a high-end price range. However, these products actually work and you will be able to see results within 1-2 months (this has been my experience, your mileage may vary depending on your age and skin concerns).

I put together a full skincare routine that will provide amazing anti-aging benefits using only Dr. Zenovia skincare products. I have personally used all the products mentioned in this post, and I stand behind them 100%! Try them out for yourself and then let me know how much you love them too in the comments section down below.

Ok, let's get into the routine...

Acne Clearing Skincare Routine featuring Dr. Zenovia Skincare

Hello Beauty Lovers!

As someone who has struggled with acne most of my life, I know how hard it is to find skincare products that actually work to clear and prevent breakouts.

I have tried everything from Proactive to dermatologists. Nothing over-the-counter worked and I didn't want to take prescription medicines.

Thankfully, times have changed. There are two skincare brands that actually work for acne-prone skin: Dr. Zenovia and Murad

Today, I will be going over my favorite Dr. Zenovia products that will help clear acne (including teenage, cystic, and hormonal acne). Murad products will be discussed in a future post.

If you are looking for a full routine to clear acne, keep reading!

Amazing Hydrating Toners For Every Skin Type

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Now that winter has arrived, it's time to change up your skincare routine.

No matter your skin type, winter is the perfect time to start using a hydrating toner.

Hydrating toners aren't like astringents. They actually provide a huge boost of moisture to the skin, a very important step for protecting the skin barrier any time of the year.

My favorite way to use hydrating toners is to apply them with the palms of my hands in 3-7 layers. You read that right! You can add up to 7 layers of hydrating toners, depending on how dehydrated your skin feels.

Here are my recommendations based on skin type...

Skincare YouTubers You Need To Start Following

>>Skincare "Gurus" and "Influencers"<<

I'm not a huge fan of the "guru" or "influencer" trend going around on YouTube and Instagram, but there are a few beauty YouTubers that I enjoy.

Whether you are new to the skincare community or you have been obsessed with skincare for years, you may fall into the trendy skincare trap that is IGTV and TikTok. Please know that most of what you see on those platforms is overhyped and driven by money.

Yes, it is clear that brands are paying skincare "influencers" to promote their products, and you don't need to fall for their glorified ads. There are plenty of YouTubers with fantastic skincare content to choose from, and I am here to help you find the one that is right for you.

When it comes to skincare, I enjoy YouTubers that try a lot of different brands and ingredients and try to give their honest, unbiased review of the products. I will first go through 7 skincare YouTubers that I think are fantastic, and I will then tell you about the 5 YouTubers/YouTube channels that I don't trust.

I do want to point out that I am in my 30s, so my skincare needs are different than those in their 20s. The YouTubers I enjoy are closer to my age, but I highly encourage 20 year olds to start taking care of their skin!

Please keep in mind that if your favorite skincare YouTuber ends up on my untrustworthy list, that doesn't mean that they are bad people. Everyone makes mistakes, and that's ok!

>>My Favorite Skincare YouTubers<<

1. James Welsh- Of course, I had to start my favorites list with my favorite skincare "guru" on the platform! James has an amazing personality, and he loves K-Beauty skincare products. He is based in the UK, so he tries to talk about products that are available in both the US and the UK. James is very honest with his reviews and he provides content for everyone to enjoy. Just an FYI, James has a twin brother Robert that runs a makeup channel that is equally entertaining! On top of that, the twins run a podcast called The Double Cleanse Podcast that is new and amazing.

2. Renee from Gothamista is another amazing skincare "guru". Her soothing voice and informative videos are everything you need to start your skincare journey. I love that she sticks to K-Beauty as the main focus of her channel, and her aesthetic is so appealing! If you haven't checked her out yet, you need to go there right now.

3. Beauty Within is one of the most entertaining skincare YouTube channels at the moment. Rowena and Fel will be your new besties during this horrible year of 2020. They will make you laugh while teaching you really useful skincare info. Again, the focus of this channel is K-Beauty, and I love every video that posted so far.

4. Nayamka from The Golden Rx is one of my new favorite channels. As a real-life esthetician, Nayamka gives very helpful skincare advice, including the best ways to wash your face! It may seem simple, but most people apply their skincare the wrong way. If you are looking for help with the basics/setting up the foundation of a great skincare routine, you need to check out this channel.

5. Morgan from The Beauty Breakdown has one of the best personalities on YouTube. She is so sweet and her positivity is infectious. I love watching her videos, most of which are chatty type beauty videos. Does anyone else miss these kinds of videos? I feel like YouTubers should post content like this more often!

6. Liah Yoo- creator of Krave Beauty is an amazing skincare person to follow. She has pretty sensitive skin, so her recommendations are safe for almost every skin type! I love that she decided to start her own skincare company but still recommends a variety of brands that work for her skin. Don't you just love an honest YouTuber? Even if you aren't sold on the clean beauty movement, I highly recommend checking out Liah's amazing content.

7. Cassandra Bankson is also a new find for me. She is a medical aesthetician with many years of skincare experience. I love her personality, and I can binge-watch her channel for hours! I especially love her skincare routine reaction videos, and I really enjoy listening to her unfiltered opinions on various brands. If you want honesty and entertainment from your skincare "guru", Cassandra is the one for you!

>>YouTubers/Channels I Don't Trust<<

1. Hyram- Ok, this one is going to upset some people. Hyram is a mini James Charles in my opinion. He has some basic knowledge of skincare and skin health, however, he acts like an expert on the subject when he is clearly far off the mark. He does make some great content reacting to skincare routines, but there are a few reasons why I don't trust him, The first is that Hyram is an employee of Youth To The People. This is where he gets the title of skincare expert, but it is a meaningless term. He does not have a science degree of any sort and he has no official training that earned him the right to call himself an expert outside his company. A skincare brand that is very much a part of the "clean beauty" movement. Because of this, he is very biased towards more mainstream skincare brands. I would trust Cassandra Banks over Hyram any day. The second issue I have with Hyram is his lack of response to the whole Susan Yara scandal (more on that below). If you enjoy Hyram's personality and would like to continue to support him, please continue to watch his videos. Just take everything he says with a grain of salt :)

2. Dr. Dray- I have to admit, I used to be a huge fan of Dr. Dray. My reasoning was that a dermatologist would have a deeper understanding of skincare and that she would recommend formulations based on her medical experience. While this is true, I forgot to take into account that a dermatologist would also have a very biased view of skincare. Dr. Dray really only sees patients with skincare issues and the papers she reads are based on skincare pathologies. I do appreciate her stance on fragrance for those with sensitive skin, but to say that everyone should avoid fragrance is simply incorrect. In terms of the population, people with normal skin rarely develop fragrance allergies and sensitivities. She just happens to see the minority of people that develop these conditions due to her profession. I do still find her videos entertaining, but I wish she would actually read more about skincare formulations and new ingredients rather than dermatology specific journals.

3. Susan Yara and Mixed Makeup- Where do I even begin with this one? I am so upset by the way Susan promoted her new skincare brand that I will never watch Susan Yara or Mixed Makeup again. If you haven't heard about the drama yet, Susan launched a new skincare company called Naturium. Without disclosing that she was invested in the company, aka it is her company, she began shilling it on the Mixed Makeup channel and her FaceBook group. She even told her followers that the formulations were better than The Ordinary, which if that's not a conflict of interest, I don't know what to say. On top of this, when her followers asked Susan where she found Naturium, she told them that she was sent the products in PR from the brand! What?!?!?!? She barely apologized for this stunt, and I am so done with her as a Skincare "influencer". What other products were promoted without disclosing a relationship to the brand? I honestly just can't trust her anymore.

4. Huda Beauty- I am really very unimpressed with Huda in general. Her makeup is overpriced, her tutorials are a joke, and her skincare line is embarrassing. I don't really have much more to say about her, but please don't take her advice on skincare. She has no skincare knowledge, and her products are terrible.

5. 5-Min Crafts- The skincare hacks on 5-Min Crafts are outrageous. Not only can you ruin your skin following their advice, but you can also lose brain cells. Please don't watch their videos on skincare related content.

>>Final Thoughts<<

I hope you enjoyed this post and you found some new skincare channels to follow!

The last thing that I want to say is that skincare is a very personal experience. It's nice to see what the Beauty Enthusiasts and Experts have to say, but what works for one person may not work for everyone.

Coming up with a skincare routine that works for your personal skin is a long process of trial and error. Instead of just blindly buying products promoted by influencers, do a little more research and figure out if the ingredients will work for your skincare concerns.

Don't just follow current trends. Find ingredients that agree with your skin, and stick to a minimal routine!

Winter Self-Care Rituals And The Magic Of Triple Masking

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Although March has finally arrived, the snow continues to fall in NYC. I have never been a fan of the winter months, but I am beginning to truly despise the snow and subzero weather as I age. My skin is no longer tolerating the freezing winds, and I find myself searching every skincare shop for a product that will save me from flaking skin!

So far the only thing that has been saving my skin this winter is my extreme obsession with sheet masks. As long as I consistently use at least one sheet mask a day and layer my hydrating skincare products, my skin remains flake free. This may sound completely unnecessary for someone with young or oily skin, but once your skin starts maturing, you will quickly see the benefit of taking care of your skin the right way.

Two of my favorite hydrating sheet masks at the moment (JayJun and Dewytree):

In addition to my daily skincare routines, I always make sure to triple mask 2-3 times a week. If you've never heard of this fantastic masking method, you are not alone. I found out about triple masking this past summer, and it completely changed my experience with mud masks.

To triple mask, start off with applying an exfoliating mask. This will help you remove any dead skin and make your pores more accessible. I like to use the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask from Peter Thomas Roth, but any exfoliating mask with chemical exfoliators will work.

After you wash off the exfoliating mask, apply a mud mask. This will really help clear out your pores. I like to use the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (Original), but you can use any clay mask for this step. Make sure to wash off the clay mask within the instructed time limit. You don't want to end up over-drying your skin!

After washing off the clay mask, apply toner and essence to rebalance your skin. I like to use Son & Park Beauty Water and Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence since they are both hydrating. Once your skin is refreshed, apply a hydrating sheet mask. I like to use one with hyaluronic acid (ex: Kina Cosmetics Function Facial Mask- Hyaluronic Acid). This will help your skin completely re-hydrate, and you will then be ready for the rest of your skincare.

Triple masking has been a major skin-changer. I haven't experienced flaking at all this winter, even in the coldest weather! I highly recommend this self-care ritual during the winter months, but it can really be enjoyed all year round.

Self-care has been so important to me since becoming a mom. I really love to take some time for myself a few nights a week to relax and take care of my skin. One part of my body that has received most of the neglect over the years has been the skin on my hands. One of my New Year's resolutions was to apply hand cream consistently during the winter. It took me a while to find a holy grail hand cream, but once I started using the Dewytree Natural Hand Creams, my hands turned baby soft.

The final addition to my beauty rituals this winter is the use of a silk eye mask* every night. Living in the city that never sleeps, my room never gets completely dark at night. All the lights from the street disrupt my natural sleep cycle. Most of the eye masks that I've tried in past fit very poorly, and they would usually fall off in the middle of the night. In addition, the material of these masks have been extremely uncomfortable, and I would never look forward to wearing them.

Luckily, 100% Silk eye masks that are oversized and adjustable, are now available on Amazon! I was sent this fantastic silk eye mask to try out (photo below), and I am so impressed with the quality. Since it is made of silk, I don't have to worry about the mask causing eye wrinkles, which is super important for any side sleepers. At under $10, this mask is so comfortable, and it actually gives me a full night's beauty sleep. I cannot recommend this mask enough!

How To Build A K-Beauty Skincare Routine

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Today I'm going to give you some tips for building your own K-Beauty skincare routine. I tried to keep my recommendations in the more affordable price range. All the photos in this post are taken from BeautyTap, and all the links in this post are BeautyTap affiliate links. BeautyTap is a website that sells most of my favorite K-Beauty brands. An affiliate link means that I will be earning a percentage of every purchase made with my unique link. If this is something that makes you uncomfortable, please do not click on any links in this post. If you would like to support this blog, happy clicking!

You can also use the code mimwieds15 at checkout for 15% off any regularly priced product on the website!

Tip #1:

Do not start a 10-step skincare routine all at once! It is so tempting to add a bunch of new skincare products in the hopes of transforming your skin immediately, but this is actually one of the worst skincare offenses. If you end up breaking out shortly after adding all your new products, it will take a very long time for you to figure out which product/ingredient is causing the breakout. I recommend only adding one new product every two weeks. Patience is your friend when it comes to skincare!

Tip #2:

You DO NOT need a 10-step skincare routine! Every person's skin is different, and you should only use the amount of products your skin needs. Start with the essentials, and stop adding products when you find the routine that addresses all your personal skincare concerns. You really do not need a 10-step skincare routine.

Tip #3:

Do not just buy every product that your favorite beauty guru recommends. Chances are your skin has very different needs. What works for one person, may not work for you. Listen to your body, and only use skincare that works for your skin.

Tip #4:

Double cleanse! Almost every skin type can benefit from double-cleansing. Start with an oil cleanser, and follow up with a gel or foam cleanser for a perfectly cleansed face.

My first step cleanser recommendations:

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil- I love that this cleansing oil is so lightweight. It has a cult following, and I can see why! It deep cleans the skin so well, and you are left feeling refreshed and hydrated. I recommend this version for normal to oily skin types. They make a rich version for dry skin types. This is a great starting cleansing oil!

Banila Co. Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm Original- If you wear a lot of makeup every day, you might enjoy a cleansing balm as a first cleanser. This one from Banila Co. also has a cult following. They make quite a few versions, but their original formula is the best. I recommend it for all skin types.

My second step cleanser recommendations:

Hanyul Pure Morning Gel Cleanser- This low pH cleanser is very gentle and can be used in the AM and PM (don't be fooled by the name). It will leave your skin feeling hydrated and clean. It is perfect for a second cleanser since it is very mild. I wouldn't recommend using it on it's own. This cleanser is great for all skin types.

Missha Super Aqua Smooth Skin Cleansing Gel- This cleanser is great for sebum control, but it's so gentle that I even recommend it for sensitive skin types. I love using this as a second cleanser, it really keeps acne under control and pores clean. I recommend this for all skin types that are prone to breakouts.

Tip #5:

Use a hydrating toner. Hydration in layers is at the heart of most K-Beauty routines. Start with a hydrating toner, and you will prep your skin for all the following hydrating steps. Here are a few recommendations:

Laneige Essential Power Skin Refiner Ultra Moisture- This toner is amazing for nourishing the skin. It features Royal jelly extract which contains vitamins and minerals to help soften and hydrate the skin. It also helps clean out the pores, refine texture, and promote cell turnover. I recommend it for all skin types.

COSRX Galactomyces Alcohol Free Toner- I have loved every COSRX product I've tried so far. This toner features 10% Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate which can even out skin tone and refine texture all while leaving skin hydrated. I recommend this toner for all skin types.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner- Klairs is an amazing K-Beauty brand. They come out with fantastic products that can be enjoyed by most skin types. This toner is amazing for softening the skin and providing intense hydration. It layers well with other hydration products. I recommend this toner for all skin types except oily skin.

Tip #6:

Use a sheet mask 3-7 times a week. Sheet masks are absolutely amazing. They come in so many varieties, and every skin type can benefit from sheet masks. Please don't forget to remove the mask after the time indicated on the packaging, or you can risk the mask reabsorbing the moisture from your skin. Here are some of my favorites:

Mediheal Essential Mask Tea Tree Care Solution- I absolutely love the Mediheal sheet masks. This Tea Tree version is perfect for acne prone skin. I don't recommend this mask for dry skin types, but the other MediHeal masks can work for dry skin.

Missha Real Solution Tencel Sheet Mask Moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid- I love tensel sheet masks. They feel so luxurious on the skin. This one features hyaluronic acid which is great for locking in moisture. I recommend this mask for all skin types.

Elensilia Intracall Escargot Propolis Revitalizing Mask- This is one of my favorite anti-aging sheet masks. It will help your skin feel so soft and supple. I love to use this mask after an acid peel. I recommend it for aging skin.

Tip #7:

Use an essence and serum! I love all these hydrating steps. My skin has never been so soft and hydrated in my life! Here are some recommendations:

Essence Recommendations:

COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence- As I mentioned above, hyaluronic acid is amazing for locking in moisture. This essence from COSRX is fantastic for a boost of hydration. It can be enjoyed by all skin types.

COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence- I currently use this essence in the PM. It features snail mucin, so don't be surprised by the slimy texture. It is amazing for adding hydration to the skin, and it really preps the skin for serum. I recommend it for all skin types.

Serum Recommendations:

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum- This serum is amazing for dry to normal skin types. It focuses on moisturizing the skin, and I love using it in the winter months. It will help you get rid of any dry patches quickly. I don't recommend this serum for oily skin types.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum- This serum is great for oily skin types. I like to use it in the summer months. It helps keep sebum under control, and minimizes break outs. It will be too drying for dry skin types, so avoid it if you are on the dryer side.

Tip #8:

Stick to a light moisturizer for the summer months, and a heavier moisturizer for the winter months. I won't be providing moisturizer recommendations, because everyone will have different moisturizer needs. I recommend reading reviews and ingredients carefully before choosing a moisturizer that suits your skincare needs.

Tip #9:

Use a sleep pack in the dry, winter months. It is so tempting to want to use a sleep pack when the weather gets warmer, but unless you have extremely dry skin, it will probably break you out. Sleep packs are so addictive, so control yourself! Here are my recommendations:

Innisfree Jeju Orchid Sleeping Mask- I absolutely love the Orchid line from Innisfree. It is fantastic for anti-aging, and I can use a little help in that department. I love using this sleeping pack 3 times a week in the winter months. I recommend this sleeping pack for aging skin.

COSRX Ultimate Moisturizing Honey Overnight Mask- This is the best overnight mask for dry skin. It features honey which really helps dry skin heal. You will wake up with completely moisturized and smooth skin. I like to use this mask on wind burnt skin. I recommend it for very dry to dry skin types.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Lavender- Laneige masks fantastic sleeping packs. They pack a punch in the moisture department, but they feel very lightweight. They can be enjoyed by every skin type, even oily skin. I like the lavender version because the scent is so relaxing.

Tip #10:

Enjoy your skincare routine! Taking care of my skin has become my favorite times of day. Yes, it takes me a while to get through my skincare routine. However, I feel so pampered and relaxed all day. I love the way my skin looks now, and I feel confident enough to leave the house foundation-free.

My favorite K-Beauty websites are BeautyTap (use my code mimwieds15 for 15% off!) and MaskSheets (they have fantastic sheet mask sales).

I hope you enjoyed this post!

The Best Affordable Masks

Hey Beauty Lovers!

If you don't remember from my June 2018 Ulta Haul, I decided to try out some Formula 10.0.6 masks. By some, I mean eight. If you think that buying eight face masks from a brand I've never tried before is insane, you obviously don't know how much I love masking. I love face masks so much that I did a Daily Face Mask Challenge in June (read parts one and two), and I'm currently in middle of a Daily Sheet Mask Challenge (part one coming soon). Back to these lovely Formula 10.0.6 face masks. These masks are $6.99 each, and there are so many options available. I purchased the masks that I felt fit my skin concerns, and started putting them to the test immediately. I was surprised by their quality, and I really feel that they helped me decongest and brighten up my complexion. The only issues I have with these masks are the inclusion of heavy fragrance and parabens. Both can cause skin irritation, and are best avoided by sensitive skin types.

Formula 10.0.6 Face Masks:
Click the links for full reviews of each of these masks. I will be updating this post with links to all of my full reviews as they are written. Please keep in mind that not all skin types can use every mask. The only mask that I recommend for all skin types, even sensitive skin, would be the Keep Your Cool mask.

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below.

June Daily Face Mask Challenge Part 2

Hey Beauty Lovers!

For the Month of June, I decided to do a 30 day mask challenge. I will be applying a facial mask to my skin during my PM routine every day this month. I will be posting this challenge in two parts, and each will include 15 days worth of masks. So far I'm really enjoying this challenge, and I think my skin looks amazing!

Rules:
  1. No sheet masks- I will be doing a sheet mask challenge in July
  2. No glycolic acid masks- I don't want to be over exfoliating my skin since I will be using my PTR Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads right before the mask step in my skincare routine
  3. No sleeping masks- this is cheating!
  4. Max of 2 clay masks/week- I don't want to dry out my skin by using too many clay masks
  5. Max of 1 Power Bright treatment/week- This at home facial is very strong and I don't want to overdo it
  6. Don't use the same type of mask 2 days in a row (i.e. clay, peel-off, mud...)
Let's get started with part 2!

Days 16-22:

Day 16: Formula 10.0.6 Sea Side Glow Algae + Sea Clay Skin-Hydrating Peel Mask- this mask made my skin so soft! I love hydrating masks so much. They always surprise me! I will be linking a full review for this mask here soon.

Day 17: Ole Henriksen Power Bright 3-Step Professional Brightening System- as you know from Part 1 of this face mask challenge, I love using this brightening facial once a week. It is pretty expensive, but I only use half a pod for each step and the box lasts me 12 weeks. It is completely worth it in my opinion.

Day 18: Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Bright Exfoliating Mud Mask- I am feeling slightly congested from all the humidity today, so I decided to use this exfoliating mud mask. I really like the grainy exfoliation, and my skin is definitely feeling smooth. I will use this mask a few more times and write a full review. I'm really interested in testing the brightening claims for this mask.

Day 19: Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask- This is such a soothing mask! It does have a heavy rose fragrance, you are now warned. I love how soft my skin feels after I wash this mask off, and the effects last for a few days.

Day 20: Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask- You may recognize this mask from part 1 of my June Daily Face Mask Challenge. I love to use this mask whenever my skin feels congested. It sucks everything out of my pores, and with regular use it can help minimize pore appearance.

Day 21: I Dew Care Disco Kitten Peel-Off Mask- I spent the day in the city, and my face was looking pretty dull. I decided to use this amazing diamond dust peel-off mask to bring back my glow. It worked like a charm!

Day 22: Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Fresh Balancing Mud Mask- My skin is still looking and feeling great from yesterday's mask, so I decided to go with this balancing mud mask. It is very refreshing, and my skin loves it after using my nightly peel pads.

Days 23-30:

Day 23: Formula 10.0.6 Keep Your Cool Skin Calming Gel Mask- I was experiencing some redness, so I used this mask today to calm my skin down. It worked so well because it is so gentle.

Day 24: Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra Cleansing Mud Mask- My skin was starting to feel a little congested because I have very large pores. I think I will focus on my pores next monthwith my skincare routine.

Day 25: SkinFood Rice Mask Wash Off- This is the first time I'm using this mask. It felt so nice on my skin, and I really noticed an intense brightening effect. I will be posting a full review on this mask next month, so stay tuned!

Day 26: Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Fresh Balancing Mud Mask- I really love using this mask whenever my skin feels a little off. It really helps neutralize any skin issues that are starting to surface.

Day 27: Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Clear Illuminating Peel Mask- This is seriously one of my favorite peel masks! I absolutely love how my skin looks the day after using this mask!

Day 28: Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Bright Exfoliating Mud Mask- I was in serious need of exfoliation today, so I used this mask. I love the gentle exfoliation of this mask. It is very effective and draws out all the gunk from your pores.

Day 29: Formula 10.0.6 Sea Side Glow Skin-Hydrating Peel Mask- I love hydrating masks, and I try to use them as much as possible. This one is fantastic!

Day 30: Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask- Okay, I am definitely on a Formula 10.0.6 kick, but these masks are so much fun to use! I wore a full face of makeup today, so I used this mask to really clear out my pores and prevent congestion.

I really enjoyed this 30 day face mask challenge! My skin is looking clear and feeling very refreshed. I highly recommend trying this challenge out for yourself. Don't forget to listen to your body, and pick a mask that suits your skin on a daily basis.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did. Don't forget to check out Part 1 of this face mask challenge!
