 Hey Beauty Lovers!

The BoxyCharm Base Box has arrived and I am so happy to see a ton of makeup!

This year our boxes have been very makeup heavy, I know a lot of you have been complaining about all the skincare in the Base Box last year...

I have been getting the BoxyCharm Base Boxes in PR for the last 1.5 years, and I have to say, it is one of the best beauty subscription boxes out there!

Want to know what I got this month?

Let's get right to the unboxing...

BoxyCharm June 2022 Base Box Review

Hey Beauty Lovers!

The BoxyCharm Base Box has arrived and I am so happy to see a ton of makeup this time!

Lately, my BoxyCharms have been getting delivered during the first week of the month, maybe this is because they recently relaunched the BoxyCharm Ambassador program. It would be silly to send bloggers the boxes in PR at the end of the month.

How would we get our reviews out on time?

Anyway, my June 2022 BoxyCharm Base Box is here and this month it came with the BoxyLuxe (you can read that unboxing here).

I have been getting the BoxyCharm Base Boxes in PR for the last 1.5 years, and I have to say, it is one of the best beauty subscription boxes out there!

BoxyLuxe Summer 2022 Review | BoxyCharm Reviews

Hey Beauty Lovers!

The Summer 2022 BoxyLuxe is here and it is busting with amazing products!

Are you ready for the full box reveal?

My BoxyLuxe arrived today (sent in PR), and I couldn't wait to get it open. This is my first month getting the BoxyLuxe, I usually just get the Base Box, but I always look up the BoxyLuxe box reveal on My Subscription Addiction. I am always so sad that I missed out on the quarterly box from BoxyCharm.

Let's get right into the reveal...

BoxyCharm May 2022 Base Box Review

Hey Beauty Lovers!

May is almost over, and I realized that I never posted my Base Box unboxing for this month.

Every month, BoxyCharm sends me their Base Box to unbox on my Blog and Instagram page. The box includes 5 full-sized beauty products for only $27.99 every month. My Base Boxes have all been worth over $120, so it's a fantastic deal!

The box includes a nice mix of well-known and indie brands, and I am usually thrilled with the products I receive.

Just a warning... Sometimes, the boxes are very skincare heavy. If you don't like to receive skincare products in subscription boxes, this one isn't for you.

This month, you can choose from one of the following free gifts when signing up:

  1. Ciate London Trend Edit Palette in Cranberry ($24)
  2. Aesthetica Cream Contour Kit ($40)
  3. Farmacy Honey Grail Facial Oil ($48)

Unless you really enjoy cream contour, I highly recommend choosing the Farmacy Honey Grail Facial Oil.

In addition to the free gift, you will also get a $10 coupon to spend at the monthly shop. All you have to do is use this link and select which box you want to join.

Ok, let's get to the May 2022 Base Box unboxing already...

April 2022 BoxyCharm Base Box Review

Hey Beauty Lovers!

I can't believe it's already April, where is the time going? Winter is over and the weather is starting to warm up. I always feel very optimistic this time of year. Do you feel the same? Let me know in the comments!

Today I will be unboxing the April 2022 BoxyCharm Base Box. The BoxyCharm Base Box costs $27.99 a month and comes with 5 full-sized products.

I am sent the BoxyCharm Base Box in PR every month, but I genuinely love this box!

Unlike other beauty subscription boxes, BoxyCharm sends well-known brands in every box. I like to see products from Ulta and Sephora in a subscription box, so this is the one that I recommend.

Just a note about the BoxyCharm boxes, there are quite a few variations each month. You won't necessarily get all the same products that you see your favorite influencer unbox, but you will get some amazing products. Keep that in mind before joining BoxyCharm!

Ok, let's take a look at what I got in my box...

January 2022 BoxyCharm Base Box Unboxing

Hello Beauty Lovers!

I started out the year with a whole blogging schedule, but I only stuck to it for one week! How do you stay motivated to keep to your schedules? Maybe I overloaded myself with content and I couldn't keep up? Let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions!

Anyway, today I will be unboxing the January 2022 BoxyCharm Base Box. The BoxyCharm Base Box costs $27.99 a month and comes with 5 full-sized products.

BoxyCharm Base Box- December 2021

Hello Beauty Lovers!

One of the best parts of being a beauty blogger is getting PR boxes every month.

I have been getting the BoxyCharm Base Box every month for the last year, and I have been so impressed with its curation every time!

The Base Box now costs $27.99/month (it just went up from $25), and it includes 5 full-sized products. There are a few levels to BoxyCharm, but I personally think that the Base Box (the lowest tier) is the best.

There are a few versions of each box every month, so you won't always get the same products as your favorite influencer. Keep that in mind and check out a few different unboxings before deciding if this box is right for you.

Do you want to see what I got in my December 2021 PR box?

BoxyCharm Base Box- September 2021

~ Where I've Been ~

Wow! It's been quite a while since my last blog post...

I keep setting these overly ambitious writing schedules for myself, but in reality, I have a full-time job and two toddlers that keep me VERY busy.

I finally sat down and wrote down a blogging schedule with only 2-3 posts a week. This schedule will be a lot easier to stick to, and I will be focusing on products that I am currently using and enjoying.

Thank you to all my subscribers that have stuck with me these past two years, I really appreciate each one you!

Ok, let's get to my BoxyCharm unboxing...

~ BoxyCharm Base Box ~

I am fortunate to receive the BoxyCharm Base Box in PR every month, but this is the first time that I am doing an unboxing on my blog. Typically, my BoxyCharm unboxings get posted to my Instagram page, so I am just testing the waters with this post.

The BoxyCharm Base Box is the lowest tier of BoxyCharm boxes, but in my opinion, the Base Box is usually better than the higher tiers.

The Base Box costs $25/month and it comes with 5 full-sized beauty products. For the Base Box, you get to choose one of your products, you will get an email when it is time to pick your product. I recommend running onto the website before all the good choices are gone.

When you first sign up, you will see the free gift that you can redeem on the main page. Just enter the code for the product you want, and it will show up with your first box! How sweet is that?

Another perk of getting subscribing to BoxyCharm, even the Base Box, you gain access to their pop-up shop. Boxy Pop-Up will give you access to products that have appeared in past and current boxes for up to 70% off. It's a great opportunity to pick up beauty products sold at Sephora for a fraction of the price!

So what did I get in my September Base Box? Let's find out!

~ September 2021 Base Box Unboxing ~

  • Blinc Glow Getter Face Palette ($50)- this palette is absolutely stunning! I have fair-light skin, and all the shades look great on me. The blushes are pigmented but blend out effortlessly, and the highlighters pack a major punch! I've never tried anything from Blinc before, so I'm happy I was introduced to them through BoxyCharm. This palette is supposed to be a BoxyCharm Exclusive, but you can purchase it from the Blinc website by using the link above.
  • Elaina Badro BabyBlues Set ($58)- this is a three-piece brush set that is definitely not worth $58. I have gotten some amazing brush sets in my BoxyCharms, but this is not one of them. They kind of feel like they were purchased from AliExpress, and the shapes of the brushes are just not very useful for me. This is also a BoxyCharm Exclusive, but I'm just not impressed with these.
  • Dr. Brandt Triple Antioxidant Eye Cream ($48)- ok, this is something I'm excited about. I absolutely love Dr. Brandt skincare, and their products are worth every penny! This is a new launch from the brand, so it's great to see it in the Base Box. Don't be surprised if you see this eye cream in a skincare routines update soon!
  • Saint Luxe Beauty Brow Gel in Clear ($22)- I always love getting brow gels, especially clear ones. I used this gel all week and I have been loving it! If you have overgrown brows that need a little control, this is the brow gel for you. I'm very happy to have gotten this in my box.
  • Insert Name Here Quick Slick Hair Essence ($18)- this was definitely something different for me. I have been getting the Base Box since October 2020, and I have never received a haircare product in my box. Until now. I'm pretty excited about this though. The hair essence comes in a mascara tube, and you can quickly comb down flyaways on the go. I am going to be keeping this in my work bag, and we will see if it ends up in a favorites post in the future.
~ Final Thoughts ~

Overall, this was a great value for a $25 box. I did adjust the prices on some of the items, but for the most part, the pricing was pretty accurate. The only product I wouldn't include in the final value is the brush set.

Without the brush set, the value of the box came out to $138. That's an amazing deal for some great products that I will be using often!

I would love to know your thoughts about the BoxyCharm Base Box this month. Let me know in the comments down below or send me a DM on Instagram.

Wolf & Thyme October 2020 LunaLux Box Unboxing

>>Wolf & Thyme LunaLux Box<<

I have always loved the Spiritual subscription boxes, so I actually reached out to Wolf & Thyme for this collaboration.

They were kind enough to send me the LunaLux Box for October, and I can't wait to share this unboxing with you!

First of all, the box was huge and HEAVY. I was not expecting such a large box, but I am obviously very impressed by the number of products they included for a monthly subscription box.

The card for the box is absolutely beautiful, and it looks like they put a lot of effort into their monthly boxes.

The back of the card includes the Wolf & Thyme website and social media handles.
Facebook: @wolfandthyme
Instagram: @wolfandthymeboxes
www.wolfandthyme.com

You can find the Wolf & Thyme subscription boxes on the Cratejoy website and you can use the code QUEEN15 for 15% off your first box.

Subscription Box Pricing:
LunaLux Box (This box): $60.67-$78 a month for 10-12 items
Luna Box: $43.17-$58 a month for 6-8 items
Wolf & Thyme Box: $19-$28 a month for 3-5 items

The Wolf & Thyme boxes include a variety of spiritual tools, crystals, organic teas, botanical self-care products, vegan salon hair care, holistic items, jewelry, and more.

Each month comes with a theme, and the items included help with self-care and spiritual growth.

In the next section, you will see the October 2020 LunaLux Box unboxing. I included as many photos as possible so that you can experience the unboxing along with me.

I hope you enjoy it!

>>October 2020 Unboxing<<

When you first open the box, you will find the Wolf & Thyme card on top of the wrapping. All the wrapping within the box gives off very earthy vibes, which I love. The tissue paper is a muted brow, and the box is filled with brown packing paper and green moss.

The box was absolutely packed with products. Most of the products were visible right away, however, there was a large black box hidden under all the packing paper and moss.

Here is a photo with all of the larger items visible. As you can see, there are a lot of products in this box!

Here is a view of just the non-paper items in the box. A lot of products are wrapped in drawstring bags, and they look very high quality.

The informational papers about the box came folded and sealed with a beautiful sticker.

The informational papers include very detailed descriptions of each product included in the box. I really appreciate that they included product descriptions, it helps me figure out what to do with everything in the box. There is also a theme for the box, CREATE.

The only thing missing would be product retail values, but it's not the biggest deal. I do love that everything was printed on seeded paper. The papers can be planted in a wildflower garden, which I will definitely be doing!

The first item in the box was Colure Blow Dry Cream (300 mL). This is a vegan, organic, and cruelty-free hair care product. You simply apply this cream to your hair before blow-drying, and it will help keep your hair smooth and frizz-free. Shaping hair is very much on the CREATE theme.

I have seen similar products in the drugstore, but they weren't cruelty-free. This was definitely nice to get in a subscription box.

The next product was the Every Phase Dry Shampoo from the Wolf & Thyme brand Luna Loft. This is also a vegan and cruelty-free product. It is a powder dry shampoo that will help refresh day-old hair. This dry shampoo is unique because it also includes some Rose Quartz chips to add Self Loving energy to your hair care.

I love to use dry shampoo. I have used powder dry shampoos in the past, and I really enjoy the powder formula. I am excited to try this one because it includes some great essential oils like lavender and citrus that will help make my hair smell great. There are also some great ingredients for the scalp in this formula, so I am really looking forward to trying it.

The addition of Rose Quartz chips helps CREATE self-love. I absolutely love this!

The next product was actually hidden under all the packing paper and moss. It came in a nice big black box, and everything was protected with a foam insert.

The set in this box included a Feather Quill, Faux Leather Journal, Quill Holder, and an Ink Bottle. This is by far the coolest product I have received in a subscription box.

Wolf & Thyme suggests using this set to make your intentions known, manifest your dreams, and create vision pages. This very much goes with the October 2020 theme of CREATE.

I think this set would look great on the desk of any spiritual being. The leaf charm on the journal wraps makes everything more earthbound. Holding this set felt very grounding.

The next product comes in this great soap bag. I love to use soap bags, they help hold wet soap and they allow you to hang the soaps to dry.

Based on the bag, I automatically assumed that there would be a soap inside. And I was right!

The Soap Rocklets crystal soap smells amazing! I got the Blue Diamond version, but it seems like a variety of soaps were sent out in the boxes. This soap is organic and cruelty-free which is always appreciated. The soap looks just like a crystal, and it's a nice large size.

I'm not sure how this soap relates to the CREATE theme, but I always appreciate a nice smelling soap. I will definitely be using this one!

Ok, the next set is fantastic. Included in this box is everything you need for a Summer's End Bath Ritual! I love ritual baths, so I was very excited to see this in the box.

First we have the instructions for the bath ritual. The instructions seem to be written on the same seeded paper as the box information, a very nice touch.

You can read the bath ritual below:

For this ritual, you get some bath salts and a nice piece of fuschite in a mesh bag. The Luna Loft bath salts include Epson salt, sea salt, vetiver, cedarwood, clove bud, citrus oil blend, mugwort leaf, angelica root, marigold, rose petals, and gomphrena flowers. The mixture is supposed to help you relax while inducing creative thought. Very much on the CREATE theme. Pro tip: use the mesh bag to keep your tub clean!

The fuschite is a sparkly green crystal that induces CREATIVE thought. Perfect for the start of the school year! The fuschite included is fairly large and weighted. It is a very impressive stone.

Also included is a hand-poured candle designed for this ritual. The Luna Loft candle is very much hand made, and you can see the intention that went into making this candle.

The jar itself is very unique and beautiful. It will look very beautiful on the edge of a bathtub or sink. The candle itself is made of soy, which is what I look for in a candle. It also includes a mix of Sandlewood, Peppermint, and Clove oils. The candle scent is pretty mild, and it won't overtake the intoxicating scent of the bath salts.

On top of the candle, you can see small onyx crystals and a violet flower. It is a very beautiful candle and is supposed to help you connect with your ancestors and give you inspiration.

The Summer's End Bath Ritual kit came at a perfect time. The cold weather is here and the leaves are falling all around us. Saying goodbye to summer seems very appropriate, and I am looking forward to performing this ritual.

The next item is the loose tea. The tea is from The Secret Garden and it's called Breathe Deeply. This tea blend is supposed to help support your immune system. A perfect addition to a Fall box. I know that my immune system dips during this season, and I love that this tea will help keep me healthy.

A tea bag is included, but you can use a straining teapot or tea ball. This tea would be great to brew while taking the ritual bath or while reading a book in the evening. You get a generous amount of tea in this packet, and The Secret Garden is a local woman-owned business. What more can you really ask for?

The next item is an original watercolor painting by the owner of Wolf & Thyme, Kat Grady. The name of this painting is "The Nighthawk Watches". The Nighthawk helps you find freedom, adapt to life, and have full abundance. The Nighthawk will help you destroy the old toxic ways to allow new positive ones to emerge.

This is really a beautiful 8x10 painting! I need to get a frame so I can hang it next to my bed for healing myself of toxic energy. You can actually watch Kat create this painting live by checking out her YouTube channel. She is such a magical creator!

The next item was in a small box with a pretty sticker. It looked like a jewelry box, so I was expecting an earthy/spiritual piece of jewelry. I was not disappointed!

The jewelry piece this month was from BumbleBee Botanica. It is a custom necklace made in collaboration with the Wolf & Thyme box, so it is an exclusive piece. This necklace is made of resin and includes Thyme, Baby's Breath, and Copper Flakes. This necklace enhances the Crown Chakra and CREATES the alchemy to connect with your past life and CREATE a fresh start full of love.

The chain is made of copper (allergen-free) and I love that you can see the Thyme, Baby's Breath, and Copper Flakes through the prism. I am definitely feeling the powerful energy from this necklace, and I can't wait to wear it! I am very impressed with the quality of the necklace. The resin makes the pendant very lightweight, so it looks like it will be very comfortable to wear.

The next product in the box is a Junk Journal kit. The contents of this envelope are creative elements that you can use for a junk journal, grimiore, vision board, or any other CREATIVE application. Use the stickers and papers (blessed with salts) to connect to your creative self!

I am loving the earthy energy of the products chosen for the junk journal kit. I am already thinking of where each product will go in my journal, and I can feel my creativity flowing! Thank you Kat for this wonderful addition.

This packet is also part of the Junk Journal kit. I love the stickers that were used to seal all the products in this box.

The Tribulation card was chosen especially for me from a Botanical Oracle deck. The card chosen was with the intention of helping me be in-tune with what I need to focus on in my self-care journey.

I'm not sure how I feel about getting this card. I know that I have been having a hard time lately, so maybe this is exactly what I need right now!

I love the back of these Botanical Oracle cards. I think that I need a deck for myself! I have been working with Tarot cards to help with my intuition, but oracle cards may be my next spiritual purchase.

The final item is the crystal/gem stone. This stone is very heavy! I think that it might be what made the box so heavy. From the size of the bag, I can tell that the stone will be very large.

Wow! We got a massive Black Moonstone! The crystal is shaped perfectly so that it can stand on its own. It enhances CREATIVITY while connecting you to your divine self. This crystal is so unique! I don't know much about the Black Moonstone, but apparently, their rainbow flash and black color help align the chakras while protecting you and keeping away negative energy. They are supposed to be powerful meditation tools to help you connect to New Moon energy, your spirit guides, your ancestors, and provide grounding.

I actually can't wait to use this crystal during my next meditation session. I can feel the powerful energy when I hold the crystal, and I am looking forward to having this around in my meditation room.

One final piece that belongs to the Junk Journal kit; a beautiful Luna Love bookmark! I love this handmade piece, and I may actually use it as a bookmark for my journal.

And that's everything that was included in this month's box.

>>Final Thoughts<<

Overall, this was the most impressive spiritual box that I received to review on my blog. Everything included was very high quality and a lot of thought was put into the curation of this box.

I am looking forward to watching future unboxings from Wolf & Thyme, I think that they will do very well!

I hope you enjoyed this unboxing. I tried to include as many photos as possible, and you can see a mini reel of this unboxing on my Instagram page.

Nourish Beauty Box- February 2020

Nourish Beauty Box

The Nourish Beauty Box is a monthly subscription box that includes 4 full-sized beauty products. All the products included in the box are cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and natural.

The box costs $29.95/month with a subscription, but you can purchase past boxes for only $45.

The best part of Nourish Beauty is that you can actually purchase all the products that are in the box from their website. That means if you end up loving a product, you can repurchase it individually!

This is the third Nourish Beauty Box that I am reviewing for my blog*. I was kindly sent all the boxes from the company to review. All of my opinions are 100% genuine and honest.

Let's get to the unboxing!

P.S. You can still get the February 2020 box here for $45.

February 2020 Unboxing

February 2020 Nourish Beauty Box:
  • Flora & Fauna Baby Face Age Defying Serum ($14.99)
  • Wyldflower Labs Apricot-C Toner ($24.99)
  • Nourish Naturals Tinted Lip Serum in Balanced ($16)
  • Peony Cosmetics Chameleon Powder Pigment in Faithful Love ($18)
The total value of the box is $73.98!

Peony Cosmetics Chameleon Powder Pigment in Faithful Love- I can't find the shade that came in the box, but there are quite a few other shades available for sale. However, the one in the box is stunning!

The Peony Cosmetics Chameleon Powder Pigment in Faithful Love is a beautiful purple shimmer shade. The Chameleon Powder Pigments are loose pigments with a super minimal ingredients list. They require a primer, so make sure that you have glitter glue on hand if you plan to use these pigments.

The pigment is very intense, and it blends out very easily. I like to pack on the color with a flat brush, and I don't experience a lot of fallout when I use glitter glue.

Overall, the Chameleon Powder Pigment is a great find for me. I am not very experienced with loose pigments, but I may have to get a few of the other shades. The price is definitely fair to other loose pigments on the market, so I definitely recommend this product.

Wyldflower Labs Apricot-C Toner- I have some mixed feelings about this product. The toner is fantastic, but the bottle is TINY! The Apricot-C Toner is formulated with 11% Vitamin C, Aloe Vera Juice, Apricot Fruit Powder, Witch Hazel, and Lupine Seed Extract. This toner will brighten your skin and help resurface the skin too! It is truly a fantastic product.

Like I said, the bottle is very small. It comes in a spray bottle, but I cannot recommend spraying this toner all over the face. You will end up wasting a ton of product that way. Instead, I recommend spraying the toner 2-3 times in your hands and press the toner into the skin. I have been using this toner every AM for almost a month and I still have a little more than half a bottle. Don't waste any of the toner, and it may last 2-2.5 months. That's not terrible, but I just wish I didn't have to use it so sparingly.

Another thing I would like to mention is that this is a pretty gentle Vitamin C product. It contains 11% Vitamin C, but it never stung or irritated my skin. There is an intense citrus scent, but it doesn't last long. I would avoid this toner if you have any fragrance or essential oil sensitivities.

Flora & Fauna Baby Face Age Defying Serum- This is another great skincare product! This serum is formulated with Aloe Leaf Juice, Vitamin E, Blue Green Algae, and Neem Seed Oil. This is a great antioxidant and mineral booster for the skin, so I definitely like to use it. I'm not sure about the anti-aging effects, but antioxidants will help with long-term anti-aging.

The one thing I hate about this serum is the scent. It smells like baby diaper cream, and I have to hold my breath whenever I use it. Thankfully, the scent doesn't last very long, but it's strong enough that I am no longer using it daily. Instead, I use this serum a few times a week as a skin booster.

Nourish Naturals Tinted Lip Serum in Balanced- My absolute favorite product in this box is always the Nourish Naturals lippie. This month, we got the Tinted Lip Serum in the shade Balanced. This lip serum is formulated with Jojoba Oil, Sunflower Oil, Safflower Oil, and Shea Butter. The Tinted Lip Serum feels like a dry oil, and it is insanely nourishing!

The color of this lip serum is a neutral brown-pink that will flatter most skin tones. I love that the tint doesn't stain the lips but the color is long-lasting. I get so many compliments every time I wear this lippie and my lips are hydrated all day long! Now that's what I call a win-win!

Final Thoughts

I actually really enjoyed the February 2020 Nourish Beauty Box. All the products performed well and felt great on my skin.

I got to try so many brands that I have never heard of, and they all deserve some more attention in my opinion.

If you are bored with the popular subscription boxes or you are just more ingredient-conscious, I highly recommend checking out the Nourish Beauty Box!
