JayJun | Roselle Tea Eye Gel Patches Review

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Eye patches are one of my favorite Korean beauty products that I discovered during my time as a beauty blogger.

I have tested so many different eye patches over the last 5 years, but I keep coming back to these beautiful pink patches from JayJun.

I first tried the JayJun Roselle Tea Eye Gel Patches in 2019, and this is now the third jar that I purchased myself!

Let's get right to the review...

I'm From Mugwort Skincare Review

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Today I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite skincare ingredients... Mugwort.

What the f*** is mugwort? I'm glad you asked!

Disclaimer: This site contains affiliate links to products. We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links. Read my full disclaimer here.

Skincare Benefits of Mugwort

Mugwort is a plant with deep North American roots. It is actually illegal to sell mugwort seeds and plants in NY because it is considered a noxious weed. You can actually find wild mugwort plants all over NY, especially in the mountains.

This is not to say that mugwort can't be found elsewhere around the globe. In fact, it also has deep Asian roots! As an herbalist, I have to mention that mugwort is a fantastic herb with very powerful medicinal properties. I can personally tell you that mugwort actually does some amazing things to the skin.

Korea is always setting trends in the skincare community with their innovative products and focus on effective ingredients. One of the ingredients that blew up a few years ago was mugwort extract/powder.

So what can mugwort do for your skin?

Peach Slices Snail Rescue Skincare Review

Hello Beauty Lovers!

I'm slowly getting through my missed blog posts from January, but I have so many more reviews to write. I hope that I can catch up over February!

Quite a few months ago, Peach Slices sent me three products from their Snail Rescue line to test out and review. Peach Slices is a brand under the K-Beauty brand Peach & Lily. Peach Slices can be found on the Peach & Lily website, Ulta, and Target. Their products are a little cheaper than Peach & Lily products, and they are targeting a younger demographic.

Most Peach Slices products are designed to address acne-prone skin, a typical teenage skincare concern.

Heimish Skincare Review

Hello Beauty Lovers!

It's been quite a while since I posted a skincare review, I hope that you enjoy reading this post as much as I will enjoy writing it.

Heimish is a K-Beauty brand that has always intrigued me. Everyone always raves about their cleansing balm, but Heimish has so many other products available that sound amazing!

The brand reached out to me a few months ago and asked me to pick three products to review. I love when brands let me choose which products I want to review instead of sending me random items that I may not need for my current routine.

Anyway, I chose the three products shown below, and I had a chance to try them out. Now that I have some opinions about them, I am ready to write some reviews!

Amazing Hydrating Toners For Every Skin Type

Hey Beauty Lovers!

Now that winter has arrived, it's time to change up your skincare routine.

No matter your skin type, winter is the perfect time to start using a hydrating toner.

Hydrating toners aren't like astringents. They actually provide a huge boost of moisture to the skin, a very important step for protecting the skin barrier any time of the year.

My favorite way to use hydrating toners is to apply them with the palms of my hands in 3-7 layers. You read that right! You can add up to 7 layers of hydrating toners, depending on how dehydrated your skin feels.

Here are my recommendations based on skin type...

Son & Park Beauty Water Toning Pads Review

>>Son & Park Beauty Water<<

You may have already heard about the Son & Park Beauty Water, it was all the rage a few years ago. I remember purchasing my first bottle from a small K-Beauty shop in NYC (you can read all about it here). I also reviewed the Beauty Water back in 2018 (you can find that review here).

I am a huge fan of the original Beauty Water. I like to apply it with a cotton round to help exfoliate my skin in the AM, but I have also applied it directly to my face with my hands in the place of an essence.

The one downside is that it's hard to travel with a huge bottle. When I found out that Beauty Water now comes in pad form, I knew I had to have them. They sounded like the perfect travel companion!

So, of course, I picked up a tub of the Beauty Water pads. I have now emptied the entire tub, and I am finally ready to write my review.

>>Beauty Water Toning Pads<<

The Beauty Water Toning Pads are essentially small textured pads soaked in Beauty Water. Each tub comes with 50 pre-soaked pads, so they are more expensive than the bottled version.

I like that the pads come with a smooth side and a textured side. It makes it easy to exfoliate gently in the AM, and my makeup always applies effortlessly when I use them.

I am a little disappointed that the pads are so small, but they are absolutely soaked with Beauty Water. As long as you are not using these to cleanse your skin, one pad is enough to tone and exfoliate the entire face.

The pads didn't dry out over the few months that I used them, so these can be stored for a while after opening.

Like the original Beauty Water, the Toning Pads can be used on the face and body. These are especially great for exfoliating before makeup application, but they can also be used on rough elbows and knees.

Beauty Water is formulated with natural AHAs and BHA to gently exfoliate the dead skin from the surface. It also contains a blend of fruit extracts to help tone and brighten the skin.

To use the toning pads, first sweep them across your face with the smooth side and then repeat with the textured side. You will notice an instant difference in the feel and look of your skin. Keep the pads in the fridge for a nice cooling treat in the summer!

If you have sensitive skin, I recommend only using the smooth side of the pad. The textured side may be too rough for your skin. If you are sensitive to essential oils, avoid this product completely!

All other skin types can enjoy these toning pads without any issues.

Ingredients List:
Water, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Butylene Glycol,Propanediol, PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Pentylene Glycol, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Xylitol, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil,Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Water, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit/Seed Oil, Artemisia Absinthium Extract, Rose Flower Oil, Ferula Galbaniflua (Galbanum) Resin Oil, Thuja Occidentalis Leaf Extract, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Laveder)Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Mentha Piperita(Peppermint) Leaf Extract, Mentha Rotundifolia Leaf Extract, Mentha Spicata Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Origanum Majorana Leaf Extract, OriganumVulgare Leaf Extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Sodium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Octanediol, Copaifera Officinalis (Balsam Copaiba) Resin, Protease, Alcohol Denat., Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol

>>Final Thoughts<<

Overall, I highly recommend the Beauty Water Toning Pads.

If you are torn between getting the original Beauty Water and these Toning Pads, I recommend getting the original Beauty Water for daily use and the Toning Pads for travel only. You get so many more uses for the price with the original bottle.

Either way, definitely get one of the Beauty Waters to add to your skincare routine! You will be pleasantly surprised by the results.

I hope you enjoyed this quick review! If you are looking for more skincare reviews, check out the Skincare Reviews Series tab at the top of this page.

Jump-Start Your Skincare Routine With The Wish, Try, Love Boxes From Wishtrend

>>Wish, Try, Love<<

The Wish, Try, Love (WTL) boxes from Wishtrend are sets that were specially curated to jump-start your skincare routine.

If you are new to skincare, or if you want to test out some new products, these sets are a great way to find some great products.

There are WTL boxes that will help with post-acne hyperpigmentation, acne-prone skin, aging skin, and teen skin. All of the products are very high quality and are very gentle on the skin.

I will be going through all of the current WTL boxes on the Wishtrend website, and I will give you my routine recommendations for each box.

All of the prices listed are accurate at the time of posting, the prices may change at any time.

Let's get to the WTL boxes...

>>Available Boxes<<

1. WTL Correcting Post Acne Pigmentation Clearing Kit ($92.40)- If you suffered from acne as a teen (or adult), you may notice dark spots on your face that were left from acne marks. This skin condition is called post-inflammation hyperpigmentation, and it can be really hard to get rid of. Thankfully, there are so many great skin lightening products that will help you get your skin back to being spot free. This set includes a bottle of the I'm from Rice Toner, a box of the Klairs Toner Mate 2 in 1 Cotton Pads, a bottle of the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum, a jar of the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask, a tube of the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream (larger size), a tube of the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence, 5 of the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask, and the By Wishtrend Clear Skin Shield Patch. The value of this box is over $158. I recommend applying the Rice Toner with a cotton pad after cleansing twice a day, applying 1-3 layers of the Rice Toner with your hands twice a day, using a sheet mask at least once a week after toning, applying the vitamin c serum twice a day, applying the calming cream in the AM, applying the vitamin e mask in the PM, and applying sunscreen in the AM. Apply an acne patch on any breakouts to help clear them quickly. It will only take a few weeks for this routine to start giving results, and you will be so shocked by the transformation.

The value of this set id over $112. I recommend cleansing the skin with the gel cleanser in the PM, applying the serum twice a day, applying the soothing cream in the AM, applying the calming cream in the PM, and applying the sunscreen in the AM. The only thing missing from this routine is an oil cleanser, I recommend this one from Klairs. This is really a great basic routine for clear and healthy skin!

The total value of this box is over $138. My recommended routine with these products: Wash the skin with the Gel Cleanser in the PM, apply the Mugwort Toner with a cotton round in the AM, apply the Mugwort toner with your hands in the PM after cleansing, apply a few drops of the Klairs serum twice a day, apply the moisturizer twice a day, apply the sulfur gel as a spot treatment in the PM and/or apply an acne patch in the PM. Always use an SPF before going outside in the AM, and apply the Blue Calming Cream on open acne wounds. The only thing missing from this routine is an oil cleanser, I recommend this one from Klairs. Use this routine consistently every single day, and you will see results within a few weeks!

4. WTL Day & Night Oily Acne Prone Skin Care Kit ($90.30)- If you have oily, acne-prone skin, you already know that the fewer products you use, the better your skin will look. However, you still need to use the right products to help heal your skin and strengthen your skin barrier. This set includes some great products for a minimalistic skincare routine for oily, acne-prone skin. This set includes a bottle of the Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner, a jar of the By Wishtrend Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream, a bottle of the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule, a bottle of the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum, and a tube of the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence. This set has a total value of over $125. I recommend applying 1-3 layers of the toner with your hands after cleansing twice a day, apply a few drops of the Klairs serum in the AM, apply a few drops of the By Wishtrend serum in the PM, apply the moisturizer twice a day, and apply the sunscreen in the AM. If you don't have a skincare routine yet, or your current routine isn't working for your oily, acne-prone skin, ty this set out!

5. WTL Youthful Aging Skin Care Box ($149)- This set is great for aging skin! With this box you will get a bottle of the I'm From Rice Toner, a jar of the I'm From Ginseng Eye Cream, a jar of the By Wishtrend Vitamin 75 Maximizing Cream, a bottle of the Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop, and the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop. The total value of this box is $149, so you aren't saving anything by getting the bundle. If you are new to K-Beauty skincare, you are in for a real treat with this lineup. Your skin will completely transform in a few weeks with continued use! I recommend applying a few drops of the Youth Activating Drops after cleansing, then apply the Rice Toner with your hands, follow up with a few drops of the Watery Oil Drop, apply the Eye Cream, and finish up with the moisturizer. This routine can be done twice a day for a more youthful appearance. Remember that any anti-aging skincare routine needs to include an SPF, I recommend this one.

6. WTL Reveal Your Best Skin Box ($91.70)- This set is great for the skincare junkie looking to try out a new skincare routine. The set includes a bottle of the Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water, a jar of the Klairs Youthful Glow Sugar Mask, a jar of the I'm From  Honey Glow Cream, a tube of the Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter, and a bottle of the Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel. Bonus gifts included in this set are a box of the Klairs Toner Mate Cotton Pads, 10 samples of the Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter, and 10 samples of the Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel. The total value of this set is over $124. I recommend using the Sugar Mask once a week after cleansing, applying the Hydrating Water with a cotton pad after cleansing twice a day, using a serum of your choice (this one is a great choice for this routine), apply the Eye Awakening Gel to the eye area in the AM, apply the Nourishing Eye Butter around the eyes in the PM, and applying a nice layer of the Honey Glow Cream twice a day. This is a great set for beginners and advanced skincare practitioners, but it is best suited for normal skin types. Remember that any skincare routine needs to include an SPF, I recommend this one

7. WTL Total Care Kit for Acne-prone and Sensitive Skin ($86.10)- It may sound strange, but there are many people with acne and sensitive skin. This means that harsh acne treatments will actually make the acne worse! If this happens to you, please know that there are options, and this kit is fantastic for your skin type. These products will help soothe your skin and your acne will have a chance to heal. This set includes a tube of the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream, a bottle of the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum, a bottle of the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner, 5 of the Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Masks, a jar of the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream, and a Skinmiso Comedo Remover. This set has a value of over $104.25 (I couldn't find the price of the comedo remover). I would recommend applying the toner with your hands after cleansing twice a day, using a sheet mask after toning at least once a week, applying a pump of serum after toning and/or masking twice a day, and applying the Soothing Cream twice a day after serum. Whenever you have a breakout, after the cleansing step, use the comedo remover tool to break any whiteheads. Follow up with the Calming Cream instead of any other product. You will see fantastic results in 14 days! Remember that any anti-acne skincare routine needs to include an SPF, I recommend this one.

8. WTL 30 Days Skin Transformation Kit ($53.20)- This set includes the basics for a great skincare routine. It comes with 10 By Wishtrend Natural Vitamin 21.5% Enhancing Sheet Masks, a bottle of Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop Serum, and a bottle of Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner. The value of this box is $75 when purchasing the products individually. I recommend applying the toner with your hands after cleansing twice a day, using a sheet mask after toner at least twice a week, and finally applying the vitamin c serum twice a day. I would also recommend following up with a moisturizer after serum (this one is a great option for glowing skin). With consistent use, this set will give your skin a healthy glow in a few weeks! Remember that any skincare routine needs to include an SPF, I recommend this one.

>>Final Thoughts<<

How amazing are these boxes?

Some of these sets are a great deal, and all of the boxes are worth the price. You can get so many great products for less than $150 which is fantastic for a high-quality skincare routine.

Top 15 Skincare Products on Yesstyle

>>YesStyle<<

Have you ever wondered where skincare "influencers" purchase their K-Beauty products?

One very popular online store we go to is YesStyle. This website offers a wide variety of products and brands at affordable prices. It can get a little overwhelming to shop on these types of online stores unless you know exactly what you are looking for before you login.

To help you decide what products to purchase, I decided to put together a list of my favorite 15 skincare products offered by YesStyle (with some other suggestions too). Feel free to use this list as a guide and check out the products YesStyle recommends under each product too.

Let's get to the list...

>>Top 15 YesStyle Skincare<<

1. MIZON Snail Repairing Foam Cleanser- I purchased this cleanser on a whim, and I ended up falling in love! If you are looking for a fantastic hydrating cleanser, this one is for you. Keep in mind that this cleanser needs to be used as a second step cleanser, it won't remove any makeup or sunscreen from your skin in the evening.

2. THANK YOU FARMER True Water Light Toner*- I was kindly sent this toner to review from CrediThink. They actually reached out to me on Instagram and offered to send me this product. This is a very watery toner formulated with amazing exfoliating ingredients. I like to apply this with a cotton round to keep my skin clear and smooth.

3. iUNIK Black Snail Restore Serum*- The company sent me this serum to try out, and it ended up being one of my favorite snail serums I have ever tried. If you hate the snail mucin feeling, but love using snail mucin for skincare, this serum is for you. It just feels like a thicker serum, and you can't tell that there is snail mucin in the formula. My skin really loved this serum, and I highly recommend it, especially if you have aging skin.

4. iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil*-  If you haven't read my blog yet, you may not know about this amazing Oil Cleanser. Ever since I tried this cleanser, I have been hooked! I have recommended this oil to all of my friends, and even Hyram loves it! This cleansing oil is super lightweight, smells amazing, and feels so good on the skin. It is perfect for removing all traces of sunscreen and makeup, and it doesn't burn your eyes. If you need a new cleansing oil, you have to try this one from iUNIK.

5. Real Barrier Intense Moisture Cream*- I haven't used this moisturizer in forever, but I still remember how amazing this cream was for my skin. If you are looking for a fantastic moisturizer to completely heal your skin barrier, you need to try this one from Real Barrier. The Intense Moisture Cream is great for all skin types except very oily skin. If you have very oily skin, I would recommend their Aqua Soothing Gel Cream instead, and if you have very dry skin, try their Extreme Cream. All three versions will completely transform your skin and help strengthen your skin barrier, preventing further skin damage.

6. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner- If you haven't tried the seven skin method, or if you are already a huge fan of hydrating toners, you need to check out the Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner. I have purchased two bottles of this toner already, and it is easily becoming a holy grail product in my skincare routine. If you want even more hydration, you can also try out their new Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner Plus.

7. JAYJUN Roselle Tea Eye Gel Patch- If you have been reading my blog for a while now, you may already know that I am obsessed with eye patches. Daily eye patches are a fantastic way to keep the skin under the eyes healthy, smooth, and hydrated. You won't notice much of a difference with just one use, but you will see a major improvement in the delicate skin under your eyes if you include eye patches in your routine. I personally love the Roselle Tea Eye Patches from JayJun, I think I may have purchased 3-4 jars of these already. Some other great options include the JAYJUN Green Tea Eye Gel Patches, the Elizavecca Hell-Pore Gold Hyaluronic Acid Eye Patches, and the PETITFEE Gold & Snail Hydrogel Eye Patches.

8. too cool for school Pumpkin Sleeping Pack*- Sleeping packs are essential for my skin during the winter months. Sleeping packs can be used in place of a regular moisturizer for oily skin types, and they can be layered over a regular moisturizer for drier skin types. This sleeping pack from too cool for school is formulated with exfoliating ingredients that will help resurface your skin overnight. It is one of the best sleeping packs for the winter that I've tried so far, and it smells amazing!

9. the SKIN HOUSE Snail Mucin 5000 Ampoule*- Yes, I put two snail mucin serums on my list. This snail ampoule is not as hydrating as the one by iUNIK, but it is great for anyone in their 20's. The snail mucin is not sticky at all, and the ampoule smells AMAZING! This is a great option for acne-prone skin, and it will really help keep the skin's moisture levels balanced. Definitely a great product for younger skin!

10. By Wishtrend - Pure Vitamin C 15% with Ferulic Acid*- This is a new product for me. I was sent this serum a few weeks ago, and I am so hooked. It has a really interesting texture and the Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid is amazing for anti-aging and brightening. I normally don't enjoy K-Beauty Vitamin C products, they aren't as effective as Western products, but I am so impressed with this serum from By Wishtrend. I 100% recommend this serum!

11. BE PLAIN Cicaful Ampoule Jumbo Size*- The photo is of the regular-sized bottle, but I promise you will want to get the jumbo version. This serum is life changing! If you have any skin issues, you need this in your life. From acne to skin sensitivity, this serum does it all. One thing I love about Be Plain products is that they are formulated with fresh feeling ingredients that are actually effective. The Cicaful Ampoule is so popular that they had to start selling a jumbo size. Seriously, it's that popular.

12. BE PLAIN Greenful pH-Balanced Cleansing Foam*- Another great product from Be Plain. This cleanser is the most refreshing cleanser for the AM. It is formulated with light physical exfoliators and green tea. The cleanser smells just like matcha powder, and the bottle lasts for months with daily use. If you have acne-prone skin, this cleanser is so gentle but it will really help clear up the acne.

13. Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence- I am so obsessed with this essence. If you aren't sure what an essence actually does for your skin, don't worry, you're not alone. An essence is really the same thing as a toner. No, not the toners with alcohol in them (I'm looking at you Sea Breeze). These toners are made with the finest ingredients that will help resurface and hydrate the skin at the same time. If you are new to K-Beauty, don't bother with the expensive essences at Sephora. This one from Secret Key is super affordable and literally my favorite essence at the moment.

14. Huxley Mask Glow And Brightness Set 3pcs*- I don't normally recommend super expensive sheet masks, you can usually find some for $1 that work really well. However, this mask from Huxley is extra special. If you are preparing for a special event, you need these masks in your life. I cannot describe how bright and luminous these masks will make your skin after just the first use! Trust me, you are going to love these.

15. Huxley Toner Extract It*- Ok, this may be the most refreshing toner in the world. It smells amazing thanks to the prickly pear extract, and it is so hydrating. I love to use this toner in at least 3 layers, but you can use as many as you need for your skin type. Thankfully, this isn't too expensive, but it is not the most affordable product. However, the bottle lasts a really long time, so the price is definitely justified.

>>Final Thoughts<<

I think this list covers every one of my favorites from YesStyle, but I may have missed a few products.

If you do order from YesStyle, keep in mind that these are authentic Korean skincare products and shipping may take a while.

I will be writing a few of these types of posts highlighting a different skincare website that I like to purchase from, so stay tuned for those!

Kina Cosmetics Function Sheet Masks Review

>>My Sheet Mask Addiciton<<

It's no secret that I love Korean skincare, especially sheet masks. A quick look through my Skincare Routines Series tab will show you how often I choose K-Beauty products over any other Western brand.

There is a  reason for this K-Beauty skincare preference. Skincare brands in South Korea face such heavy competition that they continuously have to put out new and innovative products. This results in a huge selection of superior skincare collections.

One of the best skincare trends that came out of South Korea is the sheet mask. Although they come in individual packets (super wasteful), they are one of the best ways to drastically transform your skin in just a few weeks.

I have tried a ton of sheet masks over the last few years, just check out my Empties Series tab at the top of this page for the growing list of my sheet mask empties posts. When I order sheet masks, I try to get entire mask lines so that I can review more than one mask at a time.

One sheet mask line I decided to purchase was the Kina Cosmetics Function line. I was able to pick up all four of the masks in the line, and I already love the Kina Cosmetics packaging.

>>Function Sheet Mask Line<<

The four masks in the Function Sheet Mask Line are:
  • Function Ceramide Face Mask
  • Function Hyaluronic Acid Face Mask
  • Function Marine Complex Face Mask
  • Function Peptide Face Mask
Let's get to the reviews...

Company Claims:
"A function driven facial sheet mask that is uniquely formulated to deliver targeted benefits to address specific skincare concerns. Powered by two complexes crafted with 17 botanical extracts, and a boost of Ceramide. Ceramides replenish moisture to dry skin, and work to naturally fortify the skin’s protective barrier – locking in and retaining hydration."

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Phellinus Linteus Extract, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Angelica Keiskei Leaf/Stem Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Glycine Max (Soybean) Seed Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Salvia Miltiorrhiza Flower/Leaf/Root Extract, Schizandra, Chinensis Fruit Extract, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Polyquaternium-51, Ceramide NP, Carbomer, Arginine, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin

My Experience:

First of all, I love Ceramides in my skincare. My skin barrier was in very bad shape before I discovered K-Beauty, so I try to use as many Ceramide-based products as I can. Unfortunately, Ceramides (Ceramide NP) is listed at the end of this ingredients list. That means that there is a very low amount of Ceramides in this sheet mask. It is possible that Ceramide NP needs to be kept at a very low concentration, but I honestly don't know if that is the case.

Fortunately, I still really enjoyed this mask. There are so many amazing ingredients included in the list, and the mask left my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. What else can we really expect from a sheet mask?

The sheet fit my super long face really well, and the mask stuck to my skin the entire time it was left on my face. The serum didn't leave a sticky residue on my skin, and the rest of my skincare layered well after the mask was removed.

You can purchase this mask here, but I recommend trying one of the other masks instead.

Company Claims:
"A function driven facial sheet mask that is uniquely formulated to deliver targeted benefits to address specific skincare concerns. Powered by two complexes crafted with 17 botanical extracts, and a boost of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally occurring humectant in the human body that works to nourish and hydrate skin’s collagen – for skin that is softer, smoother, and radiant."

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyquaternium-51, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Carbomer, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Angelica Sinense Root Extract, Cordyceps Sinensis Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Sophora Japonica Bud Extract, Scrophularia Buergeriana Root Extract, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Angelica Gigas Root, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin

My Experience:

Hyaluronic Acid is a must for me, and I love the ingredient in essences, serums, and sheet masks. Hyaluronic Acid helps keep my skin hydrated, plump, and super soft. The key to using Hyaluronic Acid products is to layer it well and then seal in all the hydration with a nice moisturizer.

The Function Hyaluronic Acid Face Mask felt really amazing on my skin. It really helped plump up my skin, in a good way. I honestly want to buy a box of these sheet masks right now, that's how good this one is. With regular use, this mask should help minimize fine lines and keep your skin glowing.

As with the Ceramide mask, the Hyaluronic Acid mask fit my face well, stuck to my skin, and absorbed easily without a sticky residue.

Company Claims:
"A function driven facial sheet mask that is uniquely formulated to deliver targeted benefits to address specific skincare concerns. Powered by two complexes crafted with 17 botanical extracts, and a marine complex made with kombu (kelp), algae, and collagen. Our Marine Complex is a unique, vitamin-rich blend of kombu extract, algae extract, and collagen. It works to deeply nourish skin, and to deliver the natural soothing and detoxifying properties of marine botanicals."

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Laminaria Japonica Extract, Algae Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Carbomer, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Nelumbium Speciosim Flower Extract, Nepherite Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Scrophularia Buergeriana Root Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Extract, Carthamus, Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Phellinus Linteus Extract, Angelica Keiskei Leaf/Stem Extract, Glycine Max (Soybean) Seed Extract, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin

My Experience:

I was really intrigued by the Marine Complex mask. I love marine extracts in skincare, so I was expecting this one to be great. Unfortunately, this mask was a little lackluster. Maybe you will be able to see the benefits of the marine extracts with regular use, but you definitely won't notice a difference after using this mask one time.

The sheet mask isn't terrible, I was just not impressed. If you can find these on sale, it may be worth the money. The mask does help with hydration, so that's something.

Company Claims:
"A function driven facial sheet mask that is uniquely formulated to deliver targeted benefits to address specific skincare concerns. Powered by two complexes crafted with 17 botanical extracts, and a duo of copper + neuropeptides. Peptides strengthen skin and works to stimulate natural relaxation which helps to soften the appearance of signs of aging – for smoother, firmer skin."

Ingredients:
Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Copper Tripeptide-1, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Carbomer, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Nelumbium, Speciosim Flower Extract, Nepherite Extract, Cordyceps Sinensis Extract, Sophora Japonica Bud Extract, Mentha Arvensis Leaf Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Angelica Gigas Root, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Artemisia Vulgaris Extract, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin

My Experience:

Can you really see anti-aging benefits from using a sheet mask once? The answer is no.

However, I do love to use anti-aging sheet masks (not always the same one) on a regular basis in the hopes that they actually work. It may sound stupid, but I don't want to stop using anti-aging sheet masks because I think they will work when used consistently. Unfortunately, I can't tell which mask is giving me results since I use a wide variety.

If you are going to purchase a box of sheet masks, the Peptide one is a great choice for aging skin. If you are just looking to purchase a single mask, maybe skip this one.

You can purchase this mask here.

>>Final Thoughts<<

My favorite sheet mask from the Kina Cosmetics Function line is the Hyaluronic Acid mask. It is honestly the best mask from the group, and I plan on purchasing a box of 10 soon.

Kina Cosmetics sheet masks were surprisingly nice quality. I'm always skeptical about $1-2 sheet masks, but I am usually surprised by how well they work out for my skin.

Overall, these sheet masks are a great affordable option for daily masking. I will be reviewing the Kina Cosmetics Superfood Sheet Mask line soon, so sign up for my monthly newsletter or you may miss the post.
