Hello Beauty Lovers!
One of the best parts of being a beauty blogger is getting PR boxes every month.
I have been getting the BoxyCharm Base Box every month for the last year, and I have been so impressed with its curation every time!
The Base Box now costs $27.99/month (it just went up from $25), and it includes 5 full-sized products. There are a few levels to BoxyCharm, but I personally think that the Base Box (the lowest tier) is the best.
There are a few versions of each box every month, so you won't always get the same products as your favorite influencer. Keep that in mind and check out a few different unboxings before deciding if this box is right for you.
Do you want to see what I got in my December 2021 PR box?
Let's go!
December 2021 Base Box
Algenist Triple Algae Eye Renewal Balm ($68)- can you believe that you can get a $68 eye cream from one of the best high-end brands in a beauty box that costs less than $30? This is why I love BoxyCharm! I've never tried this one before, but the website states that it helps to reduce dark under-eye circles, bags, puffiness, lines, wrinkles, and crow's feet. If it's anything like other Algenist products that I've tried, I know that I'm going to love it!
Studio Makeup Hyaluronic Acid Rejuvenating Serum ($24.86)- I think that BoxyCharm listed this product for $45, but I found it on Amazon for $25. Still, I'm always excited to try new brands, and I've never tried anything from Studio Makeup before. I love using Hyaluronic Acid serums, so I'm definitely going to give this one a try.
Benefit Georgia Peach Golden Blush ($30)- I have always loved Benefit blushes. They are beautiful and very high quality. Fortunately, I have never tried the Georgia Peach blush. This is a beautiful peach shimmer blush, but it is very light. Maybe it can be used as a highlighter for deeper skin tones. I have a Tarte blush that looks very similar, but slightly darker. If you have medium to tan skin, I recommend that one instead.
Araceli Beauty Bella Sponge Duo ($12.99 each)- these feel like typical sponges, nothing really special. They do feel very soft and puff up like crazy when wet. You can find them as singles on Amazon or the duo on the Araceli Beauty website. I think the duo costs $24.
Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner ($15.49)- I've actually gotten the Luna Liner in a different beauty box a few years ago. It's a fantastic liquid liner that doesn't bleed and stays on all day. The long, felt tip makes it easy to draw a crisp wing. I highly recommend this one if you are looking for a natural makeup line.
