Hey Beauty Lovers!
June is one of my favorite months! Not only is it my birth month, but it also marks the start of Summer! For skincare this month I am focusing on anti-aging and retaining moisture. My AM routine may change over the next few days due running out of my moisturizer and eye cream, but below I will be listing my current skincare routines. I will come back and update you guys on what products will replace them.
AM Routine (in order of application):
- Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel- I actually think that PTR has discontinued this face wash, but I linked to their Hello Kitty version which has the same ingredient list. I really wish that I stocked up on this cleanser, but I had no idea that it was being discontinued. If you find it on sale, I highly recommend buying a few.
- Pacifica Kale Water Micellar Makeup Remover- I apply this micellar water with a cotton round. I use this after my cleanser because it has glycolic acid that I don't want to wash off.
- Pacifica Rose Flower Hydro Mist- I apply this rose water infused facial mist with a cotton round. I don't like to spray any liquids directly onto my face, unless it is the Smashbox Primer Water or a setting spray.
- Andalou Naturals Blossom + Leaf Refreshing Toner- I also apply this toner with a cotton round. I love using a hydrating toner. My skin has become so soft!
- Origins Original Skin Essence Lotion- I apply this essence in patting motions with clean hands. I have found that this step really prepares my skin for serum.
- Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum- This is one of my favorite viramin C serums. I find that this is a great alternative to the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum.
- Skin&Co Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate- I have been using this eye cream for many weeks now, and I honestly don't think that it's worth $66. It did moisturize the skin around my eyes, but there are many less expensive eye creams that will moisturize the skin. I was using this eye cream for anti-aging, and the results are just not there. The eye cream shown in the photo is just a sample tube, the full size comes in a jar. I will not be purchasing the full size jar.
- Exuviance Age Reverse Toning Neck Cream- I am currently testing out this neck cream and so far I love it! I received this neck cream for free from Exuviance in exchange for an honest review. I have only been using the cream for a few weeks, but I will be posting a full review after 8 weeks of use. I will come back to this post to update you guys with a link to my full review.
- Pacifica Crystal Youth Gem Infused Face Lotion- This is a great inexpensive moisturizer. It is formulated with tumeric which gives the skin a brighter appearance, and it smells like watermelon! I am almost out of this moisturizer, so I will update you guys with its replacement soon. I won't be repurchasing this moisturizer because I have a few moisturizers waiting to be tested.
- Radha Beauty Rosehip Oil- This is the oil that's in the blue glass dropper bottle. I absolutely love using this oil to seal in moisture. I love that this oil is inexpensive but performs like high end beauty oils.
- Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen SPF 50- I always use a sunscreen as my last step in my skincare. I really like that this sunscreen is completely sheer. I received this sunscreen from Neutrogena to review.
PM Routine (in order of application):
- Pacifica Kale Water Micellar Makeup Remover- I apply this with a cotton round to start removing my makeup and sunscreen. This definitely does not remove much though.
- Pacifica Coconut Dissolve Cleansing Oil Rehab- I love using this oil to break up my makeup and sunscreen. If you are hesitant to use a product with coconut oil, read this post. I apologize for not including this product in the photo above, but I do use this every PM. I will definitely be repurchasing this inexpensive cleansing oil, but I have a lot left in the bottle.
- Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Cleansing Gel with my Foreo Luna Mini- I love PTR cleansers, and I'm happy to report that this one is still being sold. I like to use a Foreo instead of Clarisonic. The Foreo does not require replacement heads, the battery remains charged for months, and it is more hygienic. I will definitely be repurchasing the PTR cleanser when I run out.
- Peter Thomas Roth Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads- I love using these peel pads every PM. You definitely need to work up to daily use, but you will get there! Also, don't forget that you need to rinse this product off after a few minutes. Do not leave it on your skin because you will get a chemical burn! Glycolic acid is definitely my secret for clear skin. I already have a backup of this amazing skincare product.
- This is where I apply a face mask. I will come back to update you guys with my 30 days of masks post at the end of June. Read Part 1 and Part 2
- Pacifica Rose Flower Hydro Mist- Again, I apply this face mist with a cotton round.
- Andalou Naturals Blossom + Leaf Refreshing Toner- Again, I apply this toner with a cotton round.
- Origins Original Skin Essence Lotion- Again, I apply this essence in patting motions with clean hands.
- Exuviance Age Reverse Total Correct + Sculpt Serum- This is a new addition, but I have been using it for a few weeks now. I received this serum for free from Exuviance in exchange for my honest review. I will be posting a full review of this serum after using it for 8 weeks, so stay tuned!
- NeoStrata Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy- I have been using this eye cream for a little over a week, and so far I'm loving it! I like it a lot more than my AM eye cream, but I can only use it once a day for the first two weeks. After two weeks, I will be using it in place of my horrible AM eye cream. I received this eye cream for free from NeoStrata in exchange for my honest review. I will be posting a full review of this serum after using it for 8 weeks, so stay tuned!
- Exuviance Age Reverse Toning Neck Cream- Again, I apply this neck cream to my whole neck and décolletage. I'm really loving it, but stay tuned for the full review!
- Pacifica Super Flower Rapid Response Face Oil- I love to pat this inexpensive blue tansy oil all over my face and neck before applying my retinol moisturizer. I find that it helps calm my skin and reduce any negative reactions from the retinol. I always allow the oil to sink in for a few minutes before moisturizing.
- Oz Naturals Super Youth Retinol Moisturizer- This is a very mild retinol moisturizer. It is full of amazing ingredients, and I love the way my skin looks when I wake up in the morning. I received this moisturizer for free from Oz Naturals in exchange for my honest review.
- Radha Beauty Rosehip Oil- I also use this oil in PM to seal in all my skincare, but I seamed to have left it out of the photo above.
- Fizz & Bubble Mint Mojito Lip Scrub- I absolutely love this lip scrub! It smells like mint mojitos, and it really keeps my lips smooth. I still have a lot left, but I will definitely be repurchasing this lip scrub when I run out.
- Rosebud Perfume Co Rosebud Salve- This lip balm has been a staple in my skincare routine for many years now. I love how hydrated it keeps my lips! Since it comes in a tin, I like to use this in the PM. They do make this lip balm in a tube, but I always lose those for some reason. I will be sticking with the tin for now.
I really enjoy my current skincare routines. It is something that I look forward to, and my skin has never looked better!
I hope you enjoyed this skincare routine update! If you want to see these every month, please leave me a message!
