Hey Beauty Lovers!
Today I partnered up with Neutrogena to bring you a special review of the new Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen*. For those of you that don't know, Neutrogena released a whole skincare line called Hydro Boost. This line includes cleansers, moisturizers, and masks that is infused with Hyaluronic Acid. This ingredient is extremely hydrating and can be enjoyed by every skin type. New to the Hydro Boost line is the Hydro Boost Water Gel Lotion Sunscreen.
I have been using this sunscreen every day for a week now, and I am already loving the formula! The sunscreen itself is a light blue gel, and it absorbs into the skin very quickly. This is a very lightweight sunscreen with absolutely no white cast! I have never used a sunscreen without a white cast from the drug store before. This is a very big deal to anyone that uses an actual sunscreen in their daily routine, not just a moisturizer with SPF. I am very impressed with how hydrated my skin looks, and I like to wear this sunscreen alone as well as under makeup. There is a slight sunscreen scent, but it is not as overpowering as other sunscreens on the market.
I am so happy that Neutrogena sent me this sunscreen in both SPF 50 and 30. I like to wear sunscreen daily all year round, and I always include a sunscreen as the last step in my AM routine. I find that SPF 30 works well for me in the winter, and I always use an SPF of at least 50 during the spring/summer months. Sunscreen is so important for anti-aging as well as protection against melanoma formation. I highly recommend wearing a sunscreen every single day, even if the sun isn't shining.
Why I love this product:
- Lightweight
- No white cast
- Fresh scent
- Works well under makeup
- Fast absorbing
- Comes in SPF 30 and 50
- Hydrating
- Protection against UVA and UVB rays
