Summer Glam Everyday Makeup Tutorial

Hey Beauty Lovers!

I know, I know, how can an everyday look also be glam? My answer... why not???? If you feel like wearing glitter and contour to go to the super market, go for it!

Skin Prep:
  • I always end my AM skincare routine with some sunscreen. My current favorite for layering under makeup is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen in SPF50. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
  • Once my suncreen had enough time to sink into my skin, I sprayed the Urban Decay Quick Fix Hydra-Charged Complexion Prep Priming Spray all over my skin. I always pat my skin with my fingers after using this mist.
  • I waited a few minutes before spraying some Smashbox Primer Water onto my skin, and I pat my skin with my fingers.
  • I then glided the Milk Makeup Cooling Water stick under my eyes to depuff my skin. I really love how cooling it feels on my morning skin.
  • As my final skin prep step, I applied one pump of the Becca First Light Priming Filter to my skin. This primer is purple and it gives your skin a beautiful radiant finish.
Face Makeup:
  • I added one drop of the Beauty Bakerie Baking Oil to three pumps of the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation (shade 2N2-Linen). I applied the foundation mixture to my skin with a brush, and then I used a sponge to blend the color. I received the Beauty Bakerie beauty oil at a discounted price as part of the Boss Baker Program, and I received the Laura Mercier foundation for free in exchange for an honest review.
  • I used the Julep Cushion Complexion 5-in-1 Skin Perfector with Tumeric (shade 220-sand) to cover any red spots that weren't concealed by my foundation. I used a sponge to blend the concealer. I received this concealer for free in exchange for my honest review.
  • I applied the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer (shade Fair/Neutral) to the skin under my eyes. I used a sponge to blend the concealer. I like to use a lighter concealer under my eyes to give the whole area a brighter appearance.
  • I then baked under my eyes, nose, and chin with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I like to bake my concealer under my eyes and in areas where my makeup tends to break up over the day. I received the Laura Mercier setting powder for free in exchange for my honest review.
  • I set the rest of my face and dusted off my bake with Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder. This is coming up here, but really I did this step after finishing my eyes. This leaves enough time for my concealer to bake, and I can dust away any fallout from my eye shadow.
  • I then applied a very light layer of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. You definitely don't want to over-do it on this step.
  • I lightly bronzed my face with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze Light. I also contoured my nose and lips with this bronzer. This powder does have shimmer which I love. If you don't like shimmer, you might want to bronze with a matte bronzer.
  • I used the Pink Truffle blush from the Beauty Bakerie Scoops Elysees Face & Body Palette. I always tap my brush onto the back of my hand before applying the color to my face. This power is extremely pigmented! I received this palette at a discounted price as part of the Boss Baker Program.
  • I highlighted the tops of my cheek bones with the top right shade of the Revlon Sunlit Dream Highlighting Palette (002). I received this palette for free in exchange for my honest review.

Eyes:
  • I primed my eye lids with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Greed. This is my favorite primer.
  • I set the primer using the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade Big Baby. Setting the primer with powder helps keep the other shadows smooth.
  • I used the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade Natural Peaches as my transition shade at the top of my crease. I go above my crease because I have hooded eyes. If you don't have hooded eyes, go into the crease and only a little above it with this shade.
  • I then blended the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade Sweet Tea into my crease. This helps give your eyes definition.
  • I applied the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade Dog Man onto the outer half of my lid and blended it into the crease. I also blended this shade along my lower lash line.
  • I packed the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade Sippy Sippy onto my outer V and blended well. I also blended this shade onto the outer half of my lower lash line.
  • I then applied the Tarte Swamp Queen palette shade #SFS all over my lid, focusing the color on the inner half of the lid.
  • Using my finger, I packed the Tarte Make Believe In Yourself pallete shade Crystal all over the lid.
  • I then lined my lid with the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black and winged it out slightly.
  • I applied the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Diamond Dust to the inner corner of my eye, and I brought the color along the inner quarter of my lower lash line.
  • I lined my lower lashes with the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon in (Earth)quake. I received this eye liner for free in exchange for my honest review.
  • I highlighted my brow bone with the Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in Illuminate.
Eyebrows:
  • I filled in my brows with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown. This is my favorite eye pencil!
Lips:
  • I lined my lips with the Revlon ColorStay Lipliner in Pink. I received this lip liner for free in exchange for my honest review.
  • I applied the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in shade 52 Rouge Rose. This is a very comfortable and long wearing lipstick. I highly recommend it!
Well, that it! I wore this on a regular day, and I looked flawless!
