It's time for another sheet mask empties post. If you are new to my blog, every month I document the sheet masks used and write up very short reviews for each mask. Sheet mask empties posts are usually super long, so brew a cup of coffee or tea before getting started!
In May 2019, I used a total of 55 sheet masks. This is not unusual for me. I typically use 1-2 sheet masks a day, so I end up with a lot of empties each month.
Please don't feel like you need to start using sheet masks daily. While there are many benefits of daily masking, you will be able to see results from using sheet masks 2-3 times a week.
Let's get right into my empties!
May 2019 Sheet Mask Empties:
- SNP Gold Supercharged Mask*- I was sent the SNP Supercharged masks as part of a huge SNP PR box. These masks are fantastic. They are extremely hydrating and make my skin look bright. The Gold mask is supposed to help with anti-aging, but I suspect that you would have to use this mask consistently to see any real results. It's still a really nice mask, and if you use other anti-aging products, it wouldn't hurt to include this mask in your skincare stash.
- SNP Collagen Supercharged Mask*- I received this mask before as part of a review campaign, so I was happy to see it in the SNP PR box. Again, this mask is very hydrating and I love the way my skin looks after taking the sheet off.
- SNP Aloe Supercharged Mask*- This mask was actually pretty soothing. I was surprised to see a notable difference in my skin with this Supercharged mask. I used this mask when my skin was irritated after a chemical peel, and it did wonders in terms of healing my skin barrier. I will be keeping an eye out for this mask so that I can pick up a few for my stash.
- SNP Mud Supercharged Mask*- This mask is supposed to help decongest skin while providing a ton of hydration. I really do think that this mask lives up to its claims. A sheet mask made with mud might sound weird, but it was actually really soothing. It didn't dry out my skin at all, and my pores did feel clean.
- SNP Coconut Water Supercharged Mask*- Let me start by saying that I love coconut water skincare products. There are some people that will break out from coconut containing products, but thankfully my skin tolerates the ingredient very well. I love the hydration this mask provides, and it gives my skin a fantastic glow.
- JayJun Anti-Dust Whitening Mask- I am obsessed with JayJun sheet masks. They are so luxe, but affordable at the same time. It comes with three steps, so it is really great for travel. There is a ton of rich milky essence, which I love. I might be the only one on the planet that loves a dripping sheet mask! I picked up 10 of these masks in a recent haul, so I will be using these a lot more often.
- Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables Red Squeeze Intensive Mask- The Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables line is out of this world! The scent is very strong, so if you have a fragrance sensitivity, these masks are not for you. If you do like strong scents, you are going to love this mask. They are dripping with essence and make your skin feel amazing! I have tried every single version in this line, and they are all great. I highly recommend these.
- Manefit Beauty Planner Lavender Wrinkle Care + Lifting Mask- The Manefit Beauty Planner masks are also amazing. They come with a very watery essence, but the sheet doesn't stay wet for very long. I recommend timing yourself with this mask or you risk getting dried out. The scent of the lavender mask is very soothing and relaxing, but it is not my favorite lavender mask. I still recommend these if you can find them on sale.
- Huxley Glow and Brightness Mask*- This is the most expensive sheet mask I've ever used! Thankfully, it was sent to me by the brand, because it is way out of my budget. That being said, it is the most luxe sheet mask I've ever used! There are two chambers with two different solutions in the packet. You need to pop the contents of the bottom chamber into the top chamber and mix everything all together by squishing the pouch. It is a lot of fun, and the pouch is transparent so you can see all the action. The sheet ends up dripping with essence, and it really does brighten your skin. If you can afford high-end masks, I highly recommend these!
- SNP PER F:T Bio-Cell Double Firming Mask*- The Bio-Cell masks came in my SNP PR package. They sent over the whole line, and I love these masks! They feel like gel, and they are super delicate. I have to unfold these masks very carefully, or the sheet rips. The fit is a little small for me, but they feel so good on my skin. I love all the masks that I've tried in this line, and I recommend them for all skin types!
- Elensilia IntraCELL Escargot + Galactomyces Whitening Mask- If you have been following my blog, you already know that I am in love with the Elensilia IntraCELL sheet masks. I keep repurchasing masks from the IntraCELL line when I find them on sale. They are my HG sheet masks, and I love every mask in the line. The whitening masks are great for days when you want your skin to look super bright. It won't have a lasting effect, so if you like really bright skin, you are going to have to use these regularly.
- Leegeehaam Deep & Quick Aqua Care Mask- I love Leegeehaam masks! The fit is amazing and the sheets come dripping in a thick essence. They provide so much moisture that I usually leave them on for longer than recommended. These might be too rich for oily skin, so use caution!
- Kina Cosmetics Peptide Function Face Mask- I was really impressed with this sheet mask. It felt really great on my skin, it provided the perfect amount of hydration, and it gave me a slight tightening effect. These masks are reasonably priced, and they are perfect for daily use. I really recommend these.
- BNBG Vita Genic Lifting Jelly Mask- It took me a really long time to try out these masks. They were sitting in my stash for months, and then I finally took the plunge. I had pretty low expectations for these Jelly Masks, but I was pleasantly surprised by their performance. They were great for hydration, but I didn't notice any lifting. I honestly recommend trying the hydrating version instead of this one.
- Huangjisoo Broccoli Volumizing Mask- These sheet masks have been blowing up my Instagram feed, so of course, I had to try them. I purchased one of each type, and by now I've used them all. The Broccoli Volumizing mask pumped so much moisture into my skin that it looked plump! They are not super expensive, but they are not priced for daily use. I would recommend these when recovering from an illness. They will take that sick look out of your skin instantly.
- Huangjisoo Red Fruits Brightening Mask- This brightening mask really did give me an amazing glow. I can't believe how bright my skin looked after using this sheet mask. I highly recommend using this mask before a special event!
- Hungjisoo Centella Repairing Mask- Centella has been one of my favorite ingredients this year. I have so many Centella products that my skin barrier has become super resilient. My skin can now withstand glycolic peels and other harsh treatments. One of my favorite ways to help my skin recover from an acid peel is to use a Centella sheet mask. This one is an amazing choice! It is very rich and nourishing. I highly recommend keeping a few of these on hand if you regularly get skin treatments.
- Innisfree My Real Squeeze Green Tea Mask- The Innisfree My Reak Squeeze line is the best for daily sheet maskers. You can usually find these masks for $1 in the US, and they perform really well. The Green Tea version has a lotion type of essence and it is packed with antioxidants. I love to use this mask in the AM to help add moisture to my skin before applying makeup.
- Innisfree My Real Squeeze Pomegranate Mask- The pomegranate version has a cream type of essence that is really thick and nourishing. I recommend using this one in the PM since it is such a rich formula. It is a really great mask before bed.
- Innisfree My Real Squeeze Manuka Honey Mask- The manuka honey version also has a lotion type of essence. It smells amazing and it is very moisturizing. I love using this mask as a quick pick-me-up in the AM.
- Leaders Mediu Amino Moisture Mask (x3)- Leaders makes some amazing sheet masks. They are pretty affordable, and the Amino Moisture Mask will rehydrate the most dehydrated skin. I love to use these in dry conditions, such as during the winter and when the air conditioner is running 24/7. If you have dry skin, these are a must!
- Dewytree Blooming Face Mask White Tea- The Blooming Face Mask line from Dewytree is amazing! I love all the masks from the line, but the White Tea version is extra special. It is so hydrating and soothing. My skin always glows after I use the White Tea mask, and my redness is reduced. If you suffer from dry or sensitive skin, this mask is for you!
- Dewytree Blooming Face Mask Tea Tree- Who doesn't love a Tea Tree mask? I have tried Tea Tree masks from many brands, and this one is fantastic. If you have acne-prone skin, tea tree sheet masks are a must. I like to use tea tree masks at least every other week to keep my skin acne-free. I highly recommend these masks from Dewytree.
- HelloGanic One A Day Vegetable Mask*- When I was sent these One A Day sheet masks from HelloGanic, I thought they were super cute. The packaging is super bright and I love that they use ingredients inspired by nature. The Vegetable Mask is a firming mask. I loved the light fruity (vegetably?) scent, and I did think that it helped tighten my skin.
- HelloGanic One A Day Water Mask*- The Water Mask is a-ma-zing! If you are looking for a boost of moisture, this is the mask for you! As I mentioned above, I love coconut water in my skincare. It's such an amazing ingredient, and this mask lives up to my expectations. I highly recommend this mask!
- Elakoko Noni Enriched Moisturizing Mask*- I was really excited when the Elakoko sheet masks arrived in my mailbox. I was generously sent both versions of their Noni Enriched mask. Noni is a great skincare ingredient that helps moisturize the skin. The Moisturizing version is very rich. It is best for night time use, but if you have very dry skin, you can probably use this mask in the AM too. It's a little hard to find these masks in the US, but if you find them, grab a pack or two while you can!
- Elakoko Noni Enriched Nourishing Mask*- The Nourishing version is also a brightening mask. The two masks are very similar, but this mask will give your skin a brighter glow. They are both made with very rich formulas, so use caution. I highly recommend trying Noni skincare products if you haven't already!
- JM Solution Glow Luminous Flower Firming Mask- I am blown away by JM Solution sheet masks. The masks feel amazing on my skin, and the results are hard to believe. The Glow Luminous Flower Firming Mask is my favorite mask of the month. It smells so good and it made my skin look fantastic. These sheet masks are on the expensive side, so unfortunately I won't be able to purchase these very often. I will be buying a few to use as a treat!
- JM Solution Water Luminous Golden Cocoon Mask- The Water Luminous Golden Cocoon mask is also great! It made my skin feel very hydrated and nourished after I used it only once. Again, these masks are kind of expensive, so I won't be buying them too often. If you find them on sale, grab them!
- Papa Recipe Bombee Black Honey Mask (x2)- How can I explain the magic of Papa Recipe Bombee Honey masks? If you love honey-scented products, you are going to love the Bombee Honey line. It smells sooooo good! It doesn't feel sticky at all, and it really helps strengthen the skin barrier. These are a fantastic skin treat that will leave a smile on your face every time!
- Leegeehaam Deep & Quick Mask Tone-Up Care (x2)- Again, I love the Leegeehaam Deep & Quick sheet masks. All of these masks deeply hydrate the skin, but the Tone-Up Care mask will also help with brightening. This is a very rich mask, so be careful if your skin can't handle too much moisture.
- Be Plain Bamboo Healing Mask Focus* (x2)- I'm so happy that I was sent these sheet masks from Be Plain. These are great for days when my skin needs some extra TLC. These masks help strengthen the skin barrier, soothe any irritation, and provide light hydration. These masks are perfect for the AM and oily skin. They might not provide enough hydration for very dry or dehydrated skin types.
- Esfolio Milk Essence Mask Sheet- I really wanted to like these sheet masks. I found them on sale for $1, so I was hoping that they would become my new daily sheet masks. Unfortunately, I didn't read the ingredients before purchasing 7 different versions of the Essence Mask Sheet line. Really high up on the ingredients list is denatured alcohol. Normally I don't mind denatured alcohol if it's listed low on the ingredients list. However, these masks burned my skin! I can feel the alcohol destroying my skin, and it wasn't a great feeling. I do not recommend these masks! The Milk version also smelled really horrible. Overall, a really bad purchase.
- Esfolio Green Tea Essence Mask Sheet- The Green Tea version smelled better, but I had the same issue of too much alcohol in this mask. I honestly cannot recommend the Esfolio Essence masks.
- Mediheal Platinum V-Life Essential Mask (x2)- On a more positive note, I love Mediheal Essential masks. They are perfect in every way! They fit really well, provide medium hydration, and the V-Life version helps tighten the skin. I highly recommend these!
- Leaders Mediu Amino Pore-Tight Mask (x2)- Another great mask from Leaders. The Amino Pore-Tight version is marketed for oily skin, but it works great for normal skin too! I love using this mask after a mud mask to really clear out my pores. If you have dry skin, I would avoid this mask.
- SNP Green Tension Calming Lifting Mask* (x2)- These masks also came in the SNP PR box (it was a very large box). I love these masks because they come with 4 tension patches (two for under the eyes and two for the smile lines) and the sheet goes all the way down around the neck. The only annoying thing about this sheet mask is the ear holes. I have pretty large ears (think Dumbo), so the mask is pretty uncomfortable for me. Other than that, I do recommend this mask.
- Leegeehaam Deep & Quick Mask Lifting Care (x2)- Another fantastic Leegeehaam mask. I can't believe I am out of these already. I purchased so many not too long ago, and now I'm ready to repurchase some more. These are moisturizing and they tighten my skin which I love. I'm all about that anti-aging game at this point in my life. I highly recommend these!
- Dewytree Myung Bonan Mask- These sheet masks are great for brightening. They do feel weird for a few seconds, but then they feel great! I love that they are a dripping with essence, and my skin always looks fantastic after using the Myung Bonan mask.
- Dewytree Jung Bonan Mask- The Jung Bonan version is great for calming skin and strengthening the skin barrier. As you can tell, I purchase a lot of sheet masks that strengthen the skin barrier. I highly recommend these masks!
- SNP Green Tea Supercharged Mask* (x2)- The Green Tea version of the Supercharged masks is just as amazing as the others in the line. I love the light Green Tea scent, and I always feel refreshed after using this mask. I highly recommend this mask for all skin types.
- Mediheal Tea Tree Care Solution Essential Mask- The Tea Tree version of the Essential mask line is a great Tea Tree option. It feels so cooling on the skin, even if it is stored at room temperature. I recommend keeping a few Tea Tree masks on hand at all times!
- Mediheal Collagen Impact Essential Mask- The Collagen version is fantastic too. I'm not sure if I believe in collagen skincare, but this mask does make my skin feel great. I honestly can't recommend these as an anti-aging sheet mask because the science is lacking.
- Dewytree Lavender It's Pure Mask- I absolutely love Dewytree sheet masks. I don't think I've found a Dewytree product that disappointed me. The Lavender mask smells so good! It is very relaxing, and I love to use it to help relieve stress. I recommend these over the Manefit Beauty Planner Lavender masks.
- Dewytree Aloe It's Pure Mask- The Aloe masks are also amazing! I haven't used these too often, but they are great for after sun exposure. You can't go wrong with this sheet mask, it's perfect for every skin type!
