Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment Review

Hey Beauty Lovers! 

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment ($48 for a full-sized bottle at Sephora). Just FYI: it is now called the Invigorating Night Transformation Gel. 

I purchased this product from Sephora as part of an Ole Henriksen holiday set (as seen in the picture above). It came with a mini 0.25oz jar of the night treatment, but I got 4 boxes of the holiday set and used two already (0.5oz). The regular-sized treatment comes in a glass bottle with a pump. 

The treatment itself is a green-tinted gel that has a slight scent. The scent disappears quickly but just be warned that it's there. You don't need a lot of this product to cover your whole face, so the full-size bottle will last you a long time. 

If you have any open wounds or dryness, this may sting a little when applying, but it will only be for a few moments. I have dry-combo skin that is prone to breakouts, and this did not irritate my skin or give me acne. In fact, it did quite the opposite. Any breakouts that I had the night before, were significantly diminished by the morning. 

However, I did have to use a heavy moisturizer on top of this product because it completely dried out my skin. Using this treatment did give me beautiful skin in the morning, and with consistent use, my skin stays clear and smooth. 

This treatment is designed to be used 1-2 times a week. If you use it more often, you run the risk of over-exfoliation. Trust me, you do not want to over-exfoliate your skin!

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed this treatment from Ole Henriksen. Not only did I see results with one use, but when I used this product consistently for a few weeks, my skin looked so clear and smooth! I highly recommend getting this if you have any issues with skin texture, acne, dullness, or hyperpigmentation. It will literally change your life!
