Hey Beauty Lovers!
It's been a while since I wrote a beauty product empties post. With all the packing and moving over the last three months, I misplaced most of my empties! They are packed in a box somewhere, so I will find everything eventually.
I finished quite a few products in July, and I've only repurchased one of the items. You may see some repeats from previous months, but I have 4 new products to share!
Keep in mind that I write a separate post for sheet mask empties.
Disclaimer: I use affiliate links in my blog posts. By using one of my affiliate links, I receive a few dollars. This helps support the blog since I do not accept money for product reviews. I never use affiliate links for products that I don't actually recommend. If you feel uncomfortable using affiliate links, please don't feel obligated to click on anything in this blog. You will also see that quite a few products have been sent to me for free. As a beauty blogger, I receive many products each month. I test out each product before giving an honest review. I am not required to include them in any posts, so if you see them show up, I actually like the products.
July 2019 Empties:
- Pacifica Beauty Kale Water Micellar Makeup Remover- I have been using this micellar water for a little over a year, and I still love it! It contains glycolic acid and it removes makeup very well. I like to use this micellar water as a first cleansing step, even before my cleansing balm, on days that I wear a full face of makeup. I will definitely be repurchasing this in the future!
- Pacifica Beauty Coconut Micellar Water Cleansing Tonic- Unlike the Kale Water, the Coconut version is not as good at taking off makeup. I like to use this micellar water in the AM when I don't have time to fully wash my face. I honestly didn't like this micellar water so much. It left a weird film on my skin, so I probably won't be repurchasing this one.
- SNP Bird's Nest Water Sleeping Pack* (x4)- The SNP Bird's Nest Water Sleeping Pack is one of my HG sleeping masks! It is super lightweight, so it layers very well on top of moisturizer in the PM. I love that it comes in individual packets. I get 4-5 uses from each packet and the box lasts for months. I am seriously obsessed with this sleeping pack and I will be buying a new box when I run out of packets. Use code MIMWIEDS001 for 30% off when you enter the code here.
- Australian Gold Botanical Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50- If you have been reading my blog for a while, you may know that this is my HG sunscreen. I have purchased countless tubes of this sunscreen, and now my whole family uses this SPF lotion for their faces! If you are looking for an inexpensive tinted mineral sunscreen, I highly recommend trying this one out. It has the most amazing satin finish, and it will help even out your face.
- Sunroi APTOX Ointment Cream*- I hate when I end up enjoying a product sent to me that is unavailable to purchase in the US. The cream itself is super drying, so I ended up using it as a treatment cream. Basically, I would apply a very thin layer of the cream and follow up with a more hydrating moisturizer. It worked out very well for me, and it made the tube last a very long time. I think this cream is great for aging skin, and I really wish I could buy a new tube.
- Bellflower Coconut Hydrating Serum*- What can I say about this serum that I haven't said before? I want to say that I am in love with this serum, but that would be an understatement. I am absolutely ob-sessed with it! Not only does it make your skin silky smooth, it also gives it a fantastic glow. I am pretty upset that I am out of this HG serum. I'm not going to lie, being on a no-buy is really killing me right now. I forgot how much I wanted to repurchase this serum!
- Dove Go Fresh Deodorant in Pomegranate- Yes, I included my deodorant. I know that some people use aluminum-free, all-natural deodorants, but I am wayyyy too scared to try those. Until I found these amazing dry spray deodorants, I had major BO issues (sorry if that's a little TMI). These sprays are amazing! I like the Dove Go Fresh ones (pictured here) and the Suave ones too. If you don't mind "toxic" deodorant, I recommend checking these out!
- COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner- This toner came into my life at the perfect time. I was having some major texture issues, and I had this horrible milia spot under my left eye. Once I started using this toner, my texture smoothed out, and a hard piece of keratin came off my milia spot. Once the spot fell off, the milia went away for good! I swear I had that annoying bump under my eye for over a year, and a few days after starting to use this toner, it was completely gone! I will always consider this toner to be a magic cure for any texture related issue. If you haven't tried COSRX yet, you need to get on it.
- JayJun Roselle Tea Eye Patches- I have purchased these eye patches quite a few times already. I think that all eye patches work to depuff and smooth out the under-eye area, but these patches from JayJun pack an extra punch of hydration. If you aren't a skincare addict like me, you can get away with using these patches a few times a week, and the jar will last you 2-3 months. If you have my personality, you will probably use these within a month!
- Papa Recipe Sparkling Bubble Toc Mask (x1)- What can I say about this mask? It is a normal bubble mask, which is great for decongesting pores. I enjoyed using this mask, but I hated that it didn't cover the forehead. I understand that I don't really have pores on my forehead, but I hate the uneven feeling of using a mask on only half my face. I also wish that I used all 10 masks in this set before they expired! I really should throw out the expired masks sitting in my drawer.
