Benefit How To Look The Best At Everything: Review

Hi again! So today I would like to review How To Look The Best At Everything from Benefit. I got this set at Sephora because I have read such great reviews about the individual products included in the kit. Before purchasing online (I only really purchase products online so that I can get samples), I went to the store to swatch the different shades. I can say now that I really regret that decision. The lighting in Sephora is absolutely terrible and I ended up picking the wrong shade. If I had picked up the light instead of the medium, I think my overall experience with the set would have been more positive. The kit itself costs $32 so it wasn't the end of the world. I was still able to get some use out of some of the products.

Included in the Medium Kit:

  • The POREfessional (travel size face primer)
  • Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow SPF 25 PA+++ (foundation in I'm so Money! Honey)
  • Boi-iong (concealer in 03 and 04)
  • Hello Flawless (compact powder in I'm Cute as a Bunny Honey)
  • Mini powder brush
  • Tips and Tricks insert
When you open the box, the kit comes in a case that looks like a book. It's really cute and the box can later be reused. But what about the products? So let me start by saying that I absolutely loved the POREfessional primer. It went on smoothly and it lasted literally all day. I also loved the Boi-ing concealer even though it was a tad dark. The coverage was phenomenal and I was able to use the lighter of the two shades. The foundation applied beautifully and seemed to last all day when used with the face primer. The powder, however, was a little too cakey for my liking. It felt very heavy on my face and didn't feel natural, but this could be because I got the wrong shade. Unfortunately, the foundation and powder were definitely too dark for me, but I may get some use out of them during the summer time. I will keep you updated. The last con, was that the powder didn't come in its own case, so it had to be left in the book box. This was especially annoying because the box is rather large. I wish benefit would have made all the products removable.
