The Body Shop Face Mask Review

Hey everyone! Second review of the day! Woohoo! This post will be reviewing two face masks from The Body Shop. I got two samples of each mask from a recent haul, and decided to wait to use all the packets before forming any opinions. They are each $28 for the full sized product, but you can purchase the sample sized packet for $2.50. Below you will find my full review for each mask. I hope they are helpful!

British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask: I definitely felt some tingling (maybe from plumping). It is supposed to plump skin in 5-10 min. The tingling went away pretty quickly. Smelled majorly like roses. Very soothing scent and mask started feeling nice after a few min. Left the mask on for 10 min. After washing it off, my skin felt so smooth!!!! It was very even toned and it did look a little more plump. I was actually very impressed with this mask. I used it at night, so the real test would be how my skin looked in the morning. Morning update: My skin still felt very smooth and even toned/brighter even after cleansing. I think this mask was great!

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask: I started out with pretty gross skin (fell asleep before washing it the night before). The mask had a brown color with black chunks (WTF are they), but it went on very smoothly. It had kind of menthol scent. The mask dried down very quickly, and left a tingling, cooling feeling. I left the mask on for 10 min. It got completely hard and turned greenish, and it looked kind of like the glamglow supermud mask with the oil spots. Thankfully, it rinsed off fairly easy in the shower. My face felt smooth and pores were very clear! This mask did not irritate or dry my skin out! I'm really impressed with this mask.

Overall, I was very impressed with both these masks. The Body Shop always has some great finds. If you are looking for some new skincare, I would suggest checking them out.
