Hey Beauty Lovers!
Another month has gone by, and it's time for a skincare routines update! As you can see above, my skin has been looking fabulous lately! I am not wearing any makeup in the photo, and am using natural lighting. I am starting to see some smile lines forming, which I am trying to accept. Wrinkles are an inevitable part of aging, and aging is a lot better than the alternative!
This month I will be testing out some new products, and I am also getting back to my glycolic peels every other week. I stopped doing my peel a month ago because I was getting lazy, but I am starting to see my pores getting congested again. I always love when I see a difference in my skin after a month of neglect. That tells me that I was doing something great for my skin, and I need to get back to it! I do NOT use these routines after a glycolic peel. I will be posting my post glycolic peel skincare routine tomorrow.
Let's get to my daily routines...
AM Skincare Routine:
1. Double Cleanse
- Pacifica Beauty Coconut Dissolve Cleansing Oil Rehab- I always start my skincare routines with a double cleanse. I first use an oil cleanser to gently remove any sweat or skincare products from the night. Since introducing an oil cleanser, my skin has been a lot more hydrated and healthy.
- Oseque Silky Bright Enzyme Powder Facial Wash*- For my second cleanse, I use an enzyme face wash. I switched from a gel cleanser to a foaming enzyme cleanser because I needed some more exfoliation. This is a new product that I'm testing, so I'm not sure if I like it yet. So far, I do see a difference in the texture of my skin, but I want to use this product for a few more weeks before giving you my opinion.
2. Toners
- Son & Park Beauty Water- I am still obsessed with this product! I apply this to my skin with a cotton round. This helps me remove any left over dirt and oil from my pores. It also gently exfoliates the skin without any irritation. This product has really helped me bring my skincare to the next level.
- Alteya Organics Organic Bulgarian White Rose Water* + Radha Beauty Argan Oil- For the fall/winter months, I added 4 drops of argan oil into my white rose water. This just makes the rose water a lot more hydrating. I shake the bottle really well, spray it into my palms 3 times, and pat the product into my skin. I love rose water for its hydrating and anti-aging properties.
- COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner- I added this toner to my skincare routine last month, and I am so impressed with how smooth my skin has become. I spray this toner 3 times into my palms, and then I pat the product into my skin. It doesn't burn, and it actually feels hydrating. I'm really obsessed with this toner!
3. Essence
- Manyo Factory Galactomyces Niacin Special Treatment Essence*- This is another new addition. I've never used such a watery essence before, but this product is fantastic! I use 7 drops for my whole face and neck. It is very runny, so work quickly! It has been completely evening out my skin, shrinking my pores, and clearing up some bumps on my forehead. I honestly think that this product will be my new holy grail for skincare. I want to use it for at least a month before posting my full review, so stay tuned!
- DrJmeeLab Face Mist*- I'm almost out of this essence, which is really upsetting. I can't find it for sale anywhere! This stuff smells amazing, it is super calming, and it is so hydrating! I spray this essence three times into my palms, and then I pat the product into my skin. I can't believe that I'm almost out!
- COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence- Snail mucin has been fantastic for my skin. It provides deep hydration without breaking me out. I really love the texture of this essence, and it preps my skin for serums so well. I use one pump for my whole face and neck. Just a warning, if you don't like slimy snail mucin on your face, don't use this product!
4. Serums
- Ole Henriksen Truth Serum- I like to use a vitamin C serum daily. This one from Ole Henriksen is completely over priced in my opinion. I linked my dupe post instead of the actual product here. I'm really only using this one until I can find a new Vitamin C serum to test out. Please send me some suggestions!
- Elizavecca Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum*- I started using this serum a month ago. I love hyaluronic acid, and this serum is so hydrating. I like to use one drop after all my other lighter skincare products to lock in all the moisture. My skin gets very sticky once the serum dries, so I recommend moving on to moisturizer quickly.
5. Eye Cream
- Etude House Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream- This has been a fantastic eye cream for my dehydrated eye area. I keep getting fine lines around my eyes due to dehydration, but this eye cream has plumped my skin right out. I only use a drop for each eye, and there is a ton of product in the jar. It is an amazing value, so if you are looking for a rich eye cream, this one might be for you!
6. Moisturizer
- Trul Bye Bye Pink Cream*- This is one of my favorite moisturizers that I tried this year! It is made with salicylic acid and hibiscus extract. It is amazing for sensitive skin, which includes acne prone skin. It smells amazing and it is super calming. I am still trying to find out where to buy this gem, so let me know if you have any leads!
7. Beauty Oil
- Radha Beauty Argan Oil- I keep repurchasing this oil because it is literally liquid gold! It is so inexpensive, and it works just as well as the expensive Josie Maran argan oil. Please don't waste your money on some overpriced oil. You only need 2-3 drops for your whole face and neck. I like to use oil after moisturizer to really lock in all the amazing products I just applied to my face. Argan oil is super light, so I like to use it in the AM.
8. Sunscreen
- Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Face Mineral Lotion- I don't know where this sunscreen has been all my life. It is literally the best mineral sunscreen on the market. I love that it's tinted because it doesn't leave a white cast. This is NOT going to provide any coverage. The tint will literally just cover up the white color of the mineral SPF. If you have light to medium skin, you need to try this. It has the weirdest finish, in a good way! Please try it ASAP!

4. Serums
- InstaNatural Retinol Serum*- I've been using this retinol serum for quite a while now. I use a small drop, so the bottle has lasted me a while. I really like it, but I don't know if I love it anymore. I'm almost out, so I will hold off on repurchasing it for now. I want to see if I can tell a difference in my skin condition once I run out. If I see a difference, I will definitely repurchase. I do recommend this if you are looking for a mild retinol, or if you only use vegan/cruelty-free products. It is a really good serum, and I remember loving my skin when I started using it.
- Elizavecca Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum*- See my AM routine!
5. Eye Cream
- Etude House Moistfull Collagen Eye Cream- See my AM routine!
6. Sheet Mask
- This is when I use a sheet mask. I try to use a sheet mask every night, but sometimes I get too tired. Sheet masks have really given my skin an amazing glow! I highly recommend using sheet masks on a regular basis.
7. Moisturizer
- NeoStrata Dermal Replenishment*- I am absolutely in love with this moisturizer. It is such a deep moisturizer that it is perfect for mature skin. It is a little to rich for me during the AM, but it is perfect for my PM routine. The only thing I hate is the price. However, I am willing to spend all my money on products that work, and this one works. I use two pumps for my face and neck. I am almost out, but I will be repurchasing this moisturizer!
8. Sleeping Pack
- Too Cool For School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack*- This is another new product that I'm trying. I absolutely loved the Pumpkin sheet mask that came with this set, and this sleeping pack gives me perfect skin overnight. It smells soooooo good! It lightly exfoliates, intensely moisturizes, and plumps the skin so nicely! I am already recommending this sleeping pack! I use a dime sized amount of product for my face and neck. I have a small tube, but it will last me a while.
9. Beauty Oil
- Radha Beauty Rosehip Oil- I am obsessed with Radha Beauty oils. They are such high quality, and they have amazing results! I like to keep 1 oz of the rosehip oil in a smaller cobalt dropper bottle and the larger bottle in the fridge. This keeps the product from going rancid. Rosehip oil is really high in vitamin C, and it can go bad very quickly. It is always a good idea to keep it cold. I use 3-4 drops as my last step. It helps lock everything in, and it is amazing for lightening pigmentation from past acne. This oil works for so many different skin conditions, I highly recommend it!
