Affordable Clay and Mud Masks You Need Right Now

Hey Beauty Lovers!

I'm back with another Skincare Chat post. It's been a while since I posted about the 7-Skin Method, and I really enjoyed writing about the topic. Today's topic is all about mud masks.

Disclaimer: I use affiliate links in my blog posts. By using one of my affiliate links, I receive a few dollars. This helps support the blog since I do not accept money for product reviews. I never use affiliate links for products that I don't actually recommend. If you feel uncomfortable using affiliate links, please don't feel obligated to click on anything in this blog. You will also see that quite a few products have been sent to me for free. As a beauty blogger, I receive many products each month. I test out each product before giving an honest review. I am not required to include them in any posts, so if you see them show up, I actually like the products.

If you have ever wandered around Sephora, you may have noticed that face masks can be quite expensive. Mud masks from brands like Fresh and Peter Tomas Roth are about $60 for a full-sized tub, but they are fantastic masks. I used to purchase those masks regularly, and it kept my pores looking amazing.

Eventually, I realized that I could not afford to shop exclusively at Sephora for skincare. This was around the time that I discovered K-Beauty. I noticed that there are fantastic K-Beauty products on the market that are very affordable and just as effective as luxury Sephora brands.

Today I want to talk about three very different K-Beauty mud masks that are great for all skin types. I also want to include three US masks that are fantastic, but they should not be used on sensitive skin.

The three K-Beauty masks range from under $10 to about $16. They are all fantastic options for keeping skin clear and glowing. If you have normal or oily skin types, I recommend using a mud mask at least 2 times a week. If you are experiencing a breakout, you can use a mud mask up to 4 times a week. For dry and sensitive skin types, I recommend using a mud mask 1-2 times a week.

Elakoko Noni Enriched Wash-Off Pack*- This mask is a fantastic option for dry skin types. The mud mask is made with Noni fruit extract. It smells amazing, and I really love how nourishing the mask feels on my skin. Since it is a hydrating mud mask, it is great to use on dry or dehydrated skin. It is pretty hard to find in the US, but I recommend reaching out to the company to get a hold of this mask.

Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask- This is the mildest version of the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic masks. It is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin. If you are looking for a mud mask that will completely clear out congested pores, this is the mask for you. The mask comes in a pretty small jar, but a little goes a very long way. The Jeju Volcanic clay mask is a HG for me. If you need a stronger mask, you can try the Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask 2X.

Skinfood Bitter Green Clay Soothing Mask- This mask has become a weekly treatment for my skin. I was recommended this clay mask by someone on Reddit, and I'm so happy that I decided to pick one up. The mask is cooling, soothing, and exfoliating at the same time! I use this mask every Friday evening to physically exfoliate my skin. My skin always feels smooth and looks bright after I use the Bitter Green mask. This mask can give you some strong sensations, so use caution if you have sensitive skin!

If you are looking for US skincare products, I do have some affordable mask options for you. Formula 10.0.6 masks fantastic face masks at an affordable price (only $7). Unfortunately, these masks are horrible for sensitive skin. If you have any other skin types, you can probably tolerate the slight tingling sensation when first applying any of these three mud masks from Formula 10.0.6.

Formula 10.0.6 Be Berry Fresh Balancing Mud Mask- This mask is one of my favorites! I agree that my skin feels balanced and smooth after using this mud mask. If you have normal skin, this is the mask for you. It will really help clear out your pores, and it will also make your skin glow.

Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask- This mask is great for acne-prone skin. All skin types will be able to use this mask, and I highly recommend using the Pores Be Pure mask at least once a week to maintain a clear complexion.

Formula 10.0.6 Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask- This mask is best for oily skin types. It will cut through all the oil and clear out your pores. This mask is pretty intense, but it works really well! Don't overuse this mud mask or you will risk dehydrating your skin,
