December 2019 Beauty Product Empties

>> Goodbye December <<

Hey Beauty Lovers!

It's January, and that means it's time for some empties!

Every month, I save my beauty empties (skincare, makeup, haircare, body care...) to show you what I enjoyed. If I actually finished a product, you know that I really loved it!

My monthly Beauty Product Empties post does not include the sheet masks that I used that month. My next post will be my Sheet Mask Empties, so stay tuned. You can always check my home page or the Empties Series tab at the top of this page.

I love reading empties posts, and I hope you like them too!

>> December 2019 Empties <<

  • COSRX Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence- If you are interested in introducing snail mucin into your routine, this one is fantastic! It has a super slimy consistency, so keep that in mind before purchasing. I love this essence for keeping my skin clear and hydrated. Since it is pretty thick, I like to use it after toners, sheet masks, and serums. There is no scent, and the ingredients list is very short and clean. I absolutely love COSRX products, and I recommend them to anyone new to K-Beauty or skincare in general.
  • Be Plain Greenful pH-Balanced Cleansing Foam*- If you love matcha scented products, this cleanser is for you! I loved to use this every morning, it really helped perk me up quickly. The cleanser foams very well, and there is a little grit to help with exfoliation. The tube lasted me a few months with daily use. Be Plain is another great K-Beauty brand that has very clean/natural ingredients lists. I have been super impressed with all the products they sent me!
  • Hello Organics Vitamin C Serum*- If you are looking for a nice effective Vitamin C serum for under $20, this one is for you! It looks like there was a packaging change, but it is the same great serum that I tried. This is a clear, thick serum with a mild citrus scent. I love that there are no dyes in this product because the color can mask oxidized Vitamin C. This serum is formulated with 25% Vitamin C, but it also includes some other fantastic skincare ingredients. I highly recommend checking this serum out!
  • A'ala Hawaii Mana Moon*- I don't even know where to begin with this serum. I will be posting a two-part A'ala Hawaii review next week, so I don't want to say too much right now. This serum is in a balm form and it is AMAZING! My skin is obsessed with this serum, and I don't know how I'm living without it right now. It feels kind of like an oil, so keep that in mind before purchasing! I would recommend skipping moisturizer after using this serum if you have oily skin. The only downside about loving this serum is that it costs $75!!!!! Totally worth the splurge though!

>> Final Thoughts <<

I can't believe I finished up the Snail Mucin Essence from COSRX! It lasted me over a year, and it was such an affordable product! I can't wait for my no-buy to end so that I can repurchase this essence. I honestly love everything from COSRX.

The A'ala Botanicals Mana Moon is my top find of 2019. It is absolutely amazing, and my skin really misses the richness of the serum! This no-buy is really hard!

I am also surprised that I didn't finish my sunscreen yet. It has been almost empty for a few weeks, so I will probably empty it this month. Don't forget to come back in February for my January 2020 empties!
