Hey Everyone! Today I'm going to go over all of the skincare products I used during February. I'm going to start doing this once a month, so that I can give you guys an update on my favorite products. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
Let's begin!
AM Routine:
Every AM I would wash my face with The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash and my Foreo Luna Mini. I like how clean and fresh my face feels with the Tea Tree facial wash, and the Luna mini really keeps my pores clear and happy. I use the highest setting on my Luna mini and I only use light pressure when massaging it all over my face. After cleansing, I always pat my face dry with a fresh face towel. I use a new towel every time a cleanse my face so that I don't spread bacteria all over my face. Once my skin is dry, I spread one pump of my Ole Henriksen Truth Serum all over my face and neck. I would let that sink in for a few seconds, and then I would lightly apply my Ole Henriksen Herbal Day Creme to my face and neck. I like this moisturizer because it has an SPF of 20. Of course I also apply my IT Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50, but I still like having some SPF in my moisturizer too. I would then brush my teeth and use some mouthwash before moving on to my lip care. I always apply half a pump of my Fresh Lip Serum to my lips followed by my Rosebud Strawberry lip balm. Seriously, don't use too much of the lip serum. If you are tasting it, you are using too much. I don't find that the serum is moisturizing enough for my dry lips so I use additional lip balm. The lip serum is great because it helps with fine lines around the mouth and on the lips. I seriously can't live without it. Read the full review here. Finally, every Saturday morning, I would start my day with the Ole Henriksen Power Bright at home facial. It is a three step facial that really helps brighten up the face all week long. I will link the full review here soon.
PM Routine:
I start off by washing my face with my Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell face wash and my Luna mini. I use very little of the face wash, you only need a drop, and the bottle has lasted me 6 months so far (although I've only been using it once a day). The full review for the face wash is linked here. Again, after cleansing I would pat my face dry with a clean face towel. Once clean, I would apply 6 drops of my Caudalie Overnight Detox Oil to my face. The full review for this dry oil is linked here. I would take the time to brush my teeth and use some mouthwash while the oil fully absorbed. I would then apply a light layer of my Ole Henriksen Nurture Me moisturizer. This moisturizer is pretty thick, so I don't need to apply much to keep my skin hydrated all night. The smell is really soothing and perfect for the evening. I will link a full review here soon. After moisturizing, I would apply two drops of Rosehip Oil to my finger tips and press it around my eyes. I like using this oil for my eye area, but I'm searching for an eye cream that agrees with my skin. I will keep you updated. Finally, after applying oil to my eyes I would again use the Fresh lip serum and Rosebud Strawberry lip balm to my lips.
Face Masks:
Once a week I would apply a face mask. I would do this in the AM or PM depending on my mood. This month I used the Peter Thomas Roth Gold Mask twice (full review linked here), The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Mask (full review coming soon) once, and The Body Shop British Rose Plumping Mask (full review coming soon) once. I really just choose a mask based on how my skin looks and feels at the moment. The gold mask really gives it a boost and lift so I keep coming back to it, especially before applying a full face of makeup. The two masks from The Body Shop were samples (one time use), but I have one more sample of each that I would like to try out before writing my final thoughts.
And now just a pic of me enjoying the beautiful NYC weather on the last day of February!

I hope this review was helpful and fun to read!
-Miriam
